Juicy Jay's UK Stockist
Juicy Jay's is the flavoured hemp wrap and hemp roll specialist on our shelves, and what any honest Juicy Jay's UK stockist should lead with is where the flavour actually comes from. It is dipped into the paper itself by a process the brand has trademarked, and that process does not only flavour the paper, it sweetens it. That single fact separates this brand from every rival in our rolling aisle, including one that hides its flavour in a bead inside the filter instead. There is a second thing worth knowing before you choose, which is that two other names on this site come from the same company.

Other brands in the same aisle
Juicy Jay's is the flavoured hemp wrap and hemp roll specialist on our shelves, and what any honest Juicy Jay's UK stockist should lead with is where the flavour actually comes from. It is dipped into the paper itself by a process the brand has trademarked, and that process does not only flavour the paper, it sweetens it. That single fact separates this brand from every rival in our rolling aisle, including one that hides its flavour in a bead inside the filter instead. There is a second thing worth knowing before you choose, which is that two other names on this site come from the same company.
One Arizona company, three of the brands on this shelf
Juicy Jay's was founded by Josh Kesselman, whose rolling paper business also produced RAW and Elements. All three reach the market through HBI International, an Arizona company that trade coverage describes as the manufacturer and master distributor behind the lot of them.
We sell all three as separate brands, because that is how they arrive and that is how they are labelled. RAW runs to nine lines here, Juicy Jay's to four, Elements to one. Fourteen products, one supply route, three brand pages.
Being straight about it changes something practical. If you are weighing up RAW against Juicy Jay's against Elements, you are not comparing three independent companies competing on quality. You are comparing three product families from one house, which is fine, and which also means a claim made on one brand's packaging is not independent corroboration of a claim on another's.
That is not an abstract point. On RAW, a competitor obtained an injunction and a United States federal court ordered HBI to change the Organic Hemp packaging and promotions, with certain papers ordered off the market. That concerns RAW rather than these wraps, and the same company has won other cases including a substantial copyright judgment, so it is not a one-way story. It is a reason to read a specific claim on a specific pack rather than taking a family reputation on trust.
Nothing about this makes the wraps worse. Juicy Jay's has been making flavoured papers since the 1980s and is one of very few flavoured paper brands still available in the United States after a legal fight with the Food and Drug Administration in 2009, which is a genuine piece of history and not one that any UK page selling it bothers to tell you.
Triple dipped means the paper is sweetened, not just flavoured
The brand's own description is the most useful sentence written about it anywhere. Juicy Jay's papers and wraps are made with a triple-dipped flavouring system that, in the brand's words, does not only flavour the paper but sweetens it.
Read that again, because it is the thing to decide on. You are not buying a paper that smells of banana. You are buying a paper carrying an applied sweetened flavour coating, which is why the brand has more than thirty flavours across its range and why a lot of people either love it or want nothing to do with it. There is no middle ground with a sweetened paper.
Two other specification details come from the brand and are worth having, because no retailer publishes them. Only soy-based ink is used on the printing, and the gum line is a natural sugar gum rather than the gum arabic most brands use. So the sweetness is not confined to the flavour coating, it is in the seal you lick as well.
The soy is worth a flag of its own. Soy is an allergen, and a soy-based ink on a product you put to your mouth is the kind of detail that belongs on a listing rather than buried on a brand homepage. It is the second time in this run of brand research that a soy ingredient has turned up unflagged by anyone selling the product.
One honest caution while we are here. Nobody, the brand included, publishes what the flavouring compounds actually are. So we cannot tell you what is in the coating, only that it is applied in three passes and that it is sweetened. If that bothers you, an unflavoured paper is the answer and we stock several.
Where the flavour sits, and why that is the real choice
This is the comparison that decides whether Juicy Jay's is for you, and it exists nowhere else because it needs a shop that stocks the alternatives to write it.
Juicy Jay's puts the flavour in the paper. It is there from the first draw, it cannot be switched off, and it comes with sweetness attached.
King Palm puts the flavour in a sealed terpene bead inside the filter tip. Nothing happens until you pinch the filter and pop it, which means a flavoured pack can be used unflavoured by simply leaving the bead alone.
G-Rollz infuses terpenes into the cone itself on its Cheech and Chong line, so like Juicy Jay's the choice is made for you, but without the sweetening.
RAW, Elements and Monkey King mostly do not flavour their papers at all, which is the point of them.
So the decision is not really which flavour. It is whether you want flavour applied to the material, held back in a filter until you choose it, or absent entirely. If you want it emphatic and sweet, this brand is the one built for that and has been for decades. If you want the option of no flavour from the same pack, King Palm is the better buy. If you want the paper to taste of nothing, look at RAW or Elements.
| Brand | Where the flavour is | Can you decline it | Sweetened | Format |

| Juicy Jay's | Dipped into the paper, three passes | No | Yes, stated by the brand | Hemp wraps and 5m rolls |
| King Palm | Sealed bead inside the filter tip | Yes, leave the bead unpopped | Not stated | Pre-rolled hemp cones |
| G-Rollz | Terpenes infused into the cone | No | Not stated | Cones, wraps and papers |
| RAW | Not flavoured on most lines | Not applicable | No | Loose papers and hardware |
| Elements | Not flavoured | Not applicable | No | Slow burn hemp papers |
What we stock, and one thing our own listing gets wrong
We carry four Juicy Jay's lines: three hemp wrap lines and one hemp paper roll line. All of them sit in our rolling papers aisle.
The wraps come two to a resealable pack, in pure hemp, tobacco free and nicotine free. Our flavours are Manic, Original and Purple on the main line, Red Alert on its own, and Amarillo on the Enhanced line. The rolls are five metre lengths in Banana and Green Apple.
Now the correction, and it is ours rather than the brand's. Red Alert is a flavour, not a product. UK retailers list Tropical, Blue, Manic, Red Alert, Purple and the plain hemp original as flavours of one wrap, and our own Red Alert listing is even named Hemp Double Wraps followed by the flavour. It has the same pack format and the same recorded supply figure as the other three. It should be a fourth option inside the same listing rather than a separate product, and we are merging it. While we are at it, we do not currently carry Tropical or Blue, which UK retailers do.
A related thing that will confuse you if you cross-check us against another shop. The same wrap is sold under different flavour names in different places: our Purple is listed elsewhere as Purple Wave, and our Red Alert as Red Storm. Same wrap, different name on the shelf.
The Amarillo line is genuinely separate and not a naming slip. Amarillo and El Dorado are hop varieties, and the brand runs terpene enhanced wraps as a distinct range from its triple-dipped ones, so our Enhanced line is that range rather than another dipped flavour. We will say plainly that retailers are inconsistent about this, with some listing Amarillo among the ordinary wrap flavours, so it is a reasonable inference rather than something the brand spells out.
Finally, the bracketed numbers. A 25 pack of wraps is twenty five packs of two wraps rather than twenty five wraps, which is fifty in total, and the rolls come twenty four to a box. Those are trade counter quantities. Our pack figures are recorded as unverified and we are confirming exactly what ships with our distributor.
| Line | Format | Flavours we carry | In one pack | Note |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hemp Double Wraps | Hemp blunt wraps, resealable | Manic, Original, Purple | 2 wraps | Sold in a 25 pack counter box |
| Hemp Double Wraps, Red Alert | Hemp blunt wraps, resealable | Red Alert | 2 wraps | Should be a variant of the line above, being merged |
| Enhanced Hemp Wraps Blunts | Terpene enhanced hemp wraps | Amarillo | Not stated on our listing | A separate range, not a dipped flavour |
| Hemp Paper Rolls | Continuous paper roll, 5 metres | Banana, Green Apple | One 5m roll | Sold in a 24 pack counter box |
How it compares with the other wrap and roll brands we stock
Wraps first. Only three brands on this entire site make a hemp wrap, and Juicy Jay's is unambiguously the specialist with three of the five lines.
G-Rollz makes one wrap alongside its cones and papers, in fifteen piece packs rather than twos, and leans on licensed artwork rather than flavour. Wild Hemp makes one wrap line, three to a pack, and nothing else we carry. Neither is trying to do what Juicy Jay's does.
Rolls are even narrower. Two brands, and the difference is length. Juicy Jay's gives you five metres and is the only flavoured roll we sell. Monkey King gives you four metres, king size, ultra thin and unflavoured. If you like tearing your own length, that is the whole choice.
Outside those two formats, this brand does not compete. RAW and Elements both go considerably deeper on loose booklet papers, and both, as above, come from the same house. King Palm and G-Rollz both go deeper on pre-rolled cones. Monkey King is the one brand covering nearly every format at once.
And one thing worth saying on a shop like this one. If what you actually want is a rolling paper containing a cannabinoid, there is exactly one in our aisle and this is not it. ROOR makes a CBD-infused king size paper. Everything else here, Juicy Jay's included, is hemp as a material only.
| Brand | Wrap lines | Wraps per pack | Paper rolls | Roll length | Flavoured rolls |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Juicy Jay's | 3 | 2, resealable | Yes | 5 metres | Yes, the only one |
| G-Rollz | 1 | 15 pieces | No | Not applicable | Not applicable |
| Wild Hemp | 1 | 3 | No | Not applicable | Not applicable |
| Monkey King | None | Not applicable | Yes | 4 metres | No |
Where Juicy Jay's is strong, and where it is not
Strong: it owns flavour in this category and has for forty years. More than thirty flavours across the wider range, a process the brand has trademarked, and a depth of choice nobody else in our aisle attempts.
Strong: the wraps are properly specified. Two to a resealable pack, pure hemp, tobacco free and nicotine free, and moist rather than brittle, which is the practical difference between a wrap that cooperates and one that splits.
Strong: it is the only flavoured paper roll we sell, and at five metres it is the longer of the two rolls on the shelf.
Strong, and rare in this run of research: the brand states a plain legal position on its own site, that its products are for use with legal smoking herbs and blends only. Several brands we have written up said nothing of the kind.
Weaker: the flavour cannot be turned off, and it comes with sweetness whether you wanted that or not. A sweetened gum line means even the seal is sweet. For a lot of people that is the appeal and for a lot of others it rules the brand out entirely.
Weaker: nobody publishes what the flavouring actually consists of, and the printing uses a soy-based ink that no listing flags as an allergen.
Weaker: the range is narrow here. Wraps and one roll line, no booklet papers, no cones, no hardware, when the brand itself makes cones and several paper sizes we do not carry.
Weaker, and this one is ours: we split one flavour out as its own product, we are missing two flavours UK retailers stock, our listings describe a product with no cannabinoid in it as a CBD isolate, and our pack quantities are unconfirmed.
Weaker: everything reaches us through a single distributor.
Who should not buy this: anyone who wants the paper to taste of nothing, where RAW, Elements and Monkey King are all better answers. Anyone avoiding soy. Anyone who wants the choice of using a flavoured pack unflavoured, where King Palm's filter bead does exactly that. And anyone here for a cannabinoid, since there is none in any of it.
What is not in them, and where they sit under UK law
There is no cannabidiol in a Juicy Jay's wrap or roll, and no THC, and no cannabinoid of any kind. Hemp here is the material the paper is made from, not an ingredient with an active content. That is why these sit on a CBD site without being CBD products, and it is why you will find no strength figure anywhere on this page.
One consequence is that most of this site's legal framework simply does not apply to them. No Novel Foods question, because nothing here is ingested. No per-container cannabinoid test, because there is no controlled cannabinoid to measure. No certificate of analysis, because there is nothing to certify. Our own product summaries currently call these CBD isolate products, which is wrong, and we are correcting it in the data rather than leaving a false description standing.
What does apply is the age restriction. These are 18+ only, as is everything we sell.
For completeness, since people arrive at this brand from searches about legality: the UK consumer test for a cannabinoid product is one milligram of controlled cannabinoids in the container rather than a percentage of it. That test is the reason several other pages on this site go into detail, and it is not engaged by a rolling paper. If you came here wanting that explained properly, the legality article covers it.
We will not tell you that one rolling material is healthier or safer to smoke than another. Some pages ranking for brands in this aisle do exactly that. Smoking anything is not a health decision and a shop is not the party to rank options on that basis.
Buying Juicy Jay's in the UK
This is a well distributed brand with an official UK site, so getting hold of it is easy. Unusually for this aisle, the pages selling it are not bad either, and it is worth saying so.
The strongest retail page for these wraps runs to something like eighteen hundred words and covers flavour selection, how a hemp wrap differs from a generic blunt wrap, and how to roll one. A UK retailer runs a similar length. That is far better than the hundred and twenty word efforts we found on other brands in this aisle, and it means this page had to work harder than most.
What none of them does: say that this brand shares a company with two others on the same shelf, say that there is no cannabinoid in any of it, explain that the triple dip sweetens the paper as well as flavouring it, flag the soy-based ink, tabulate the wraps against the other wrap brands, or mention that the same wrap is sold under two different flavour names. One of them subheads the product as organic papers with nothing at all substantiating that.
What we have added is all of the above, plus a correction to our own catalogue that makes our listing look worse rather than better.
We stock the alternatives, so when RAW or Elements suits your papers better, or King Palm's filter bead suits you better than a permanently flavoured wrap, we will point you there and say why.
Frequently asked questions
- What does triple dipped mean on a Juicy Jay's pack?
- It is the brand's trademarked flavouring process, applied to the paper in three passes. The important part is what the brand says it achieves: it does not only flavour the paper, it sweetens it. So a Juicy Jay's wrap carries an applied sweetened coating rather than simply smelling of fruit, and that is the main thing to decide on.
- Are Juicy Jay's, RAW and Elements the same company?
- They share one. All three come through HBI International, an Arizona business founded by Josh Kesselman, which trade coverage describes as the manufacturer and master distributor behind the three brands. We list them separately because that is how they are labelled, but they are three families from one house rather than three rivals.
- How many wraps are in a Juicy Jay's pack?
- Two, in a resealable pack. The 25 pack figure on our listing is a trade counter box holding twenty five of those packs, so fifty wraps in total rather than twenty five. Our pack quantities are recorded as unverified and we are confirming exactly what ships with our distributor.
- Is there any cannabinoid in a Juicy Jay's hemp wrap?
- None at all. No cannabidiol, no THC, nothing. Hemp is the material the wrap is made from rather than an active ingredient, which is why there is no strength figure and no certificate to publish. Our own product summaries wrongly describe these as CBD isolate products and we are fixing that in the data.
- Why is the same Juicy Jay's wrap sold under different flavour names?
- Retailer naming has drifted. The wrap we list as Purple appears elsewhere as Purple Wave, and our Red Alert appears as Red Storm. It is the same product with a different name on the shelf, which matters if you are cross-checking one shop against another and concluding there are more flavours than there are.
- What is the difference between the Enhanced Juicy Jay's wraps and the ordinary ones?
- The Enhanced line is terpene enhanced rather than triple dipped, and it is a separate range on the brand's own site. Our Amarillo falls there, and Amarillo and El Dorado are hop varieties rather than fruit flavours. Retailers are inconsistent about this, with some listing Amarillo among the ordinary wrap flavours, so read the pack.
- Does Juicy Jay's make tobacco products as well?
- Yes. Alongside the hemp wraps the brand makes tobacco wraps and cigar tobaccos, and none of those are stocked here. We carry the hemp wraps and one hemp paper roll line only, so if you know the brand from its tobacco range you will not find it on this site.
- Juicy Jay's or King Palm for flavour?
- Juicy Jay's if you want it emphatic and permanent, since the flavour is in the paper and sweetened, and this brand has more than thirty across its range. King Palm if you want the option of no flavour, because its flavour sits in a bead inside the filter and stays inert unless you pop it. Same problem, opposite solutions.
- How long is a Juicy Jay's paper roll?
- Five metres, and it is the only flavoured roll we stock, in Banana and Green Apple. The alternative on our shelf is the Monkey King king size ultra thin roll at four metres, which is unflavoured. Rolls suit anyone who would rather tear the length they want than be fixed to a booklet size.
