Nothing here contains CBD, and that is fine

Every other aisle on this site sells something with a cannabinoid in it. This one sells tools.

Hemp appears constantly in the product names here and it means the material. The G-Rollz grinders are hemp-based composite. The RAW rolling machines are hemp plastic. The Professor Herb shredder is a biodegradable hemp composite. In every case hemp is what the object is made from, in the same way a bamboo chopping board is bamboo. The exception is the RAW Classic Hemp rolling tray, where Classic Hemp is the name of the artwork and the tray itself is metal.

The one thing that trips people up is the incense, which is cannabis-scented rather than cannabis-anything-else. More on that below, because it is nearly half this aisle and it does not belong with the hardware at all.

Grinders: what the piece count actually changes

Grinders are sold by the number of parts they come apart into, and no page ranking for this search explains what that means. It is the only spec that matters, so here it is.

A two-part grinder is two halves with teeth. You put material in, twist, and it stays up in the teeth where you put it. Simple, fewer things to lose, and you scrape it out yourself. Both the Professor Herb Biodegradable Hemp Shredder and the G-Rollz two-piece work this way.

A three-part adds a chamber underneath. Ground material falls through holes in the grinding plate into that chamber, so you unscrew the bottom and tip it out rather than picking it out of the teeth. Tidier, slightly bulkier, and the G-Rollz three-piece is the one we stock.

A four-part, which we do not currently stock, adds a fine mesh screen and a second chamber below it to collect the powder that falls through. It is the connoisseur configuration and it is more grinder than most people need.

On material: every grinder here is hemp composite rather than aluminium. They are lighter, quieter, biodegradable at the end of their life, and they will not survive being dropped on a tiled floor the way a metal one will. That is the honest trade and it is worth knowing before you choose one on environmental grounds alone.

Rolling machines: match the millimetres to your papers

This is the single most useful fact in the aisle and not one competing page states it.

Rolling machines are sold by width in millimetres, and that number is not a preference. It has to match the paper you are using, because the machine's rollers are sized to a specific paper length. Put a king size paper in a 70mm machine and it will not close.

RAW makes exactly three sizes and we stock all three, which happens to cover the whole standard range. The mapping is straightforward once someone writes it down.

All three are hemp plastic rather than conventional plastic. Two of them, the 70mm and the 79mm, are listed as 12 packs, which is a trade quantity rather than a single machine, so check the listing before ordering if one is all you want.

Trays: size first, then the lid

A rolling tray is a raised-edge surface that stops things going on the carpet. That is the whole idea, and the decision is mostly about size and whether it closes.

Small trays are for a lap, a desk corner or a bag. The RAW Classic Hemp small measures 11 by 7 inches, which is the usual small-tray footprint, and the Smoke Arsenal small sits in the same class. Large trays are for a table and give you room to lay everything out, which is what the Multitrance Ganja Wars large is for.

The lid question is the more interesting one. The Monkey King Rolling Tray Box is a box rather than a tray: it closes, it holds its contents, and it arrives with hemp cones included. If you share a house, want things put away, or move between rooms, a closing box is a different product from an open tray and the better one for that purpose.

Design is a genuine part of this category rather than a decoration. The Monkey King boxes come in six patterns, the Multitrance trays in three designs each across large and small, and the Smoke Arsenal small in three. Nobody buys a tray on specification alone.

One practical note the best competitor page in this category gets right: trays need cleaning. A raised edge collects residue, and hemp and wood surfaces do not take a scrub the way metal does. Wipe rather than soak.

Hemp wick, the least explained thing in this aisle

Not one page ranking for this search mentions hemp wick, so here is what it is.

It is a length of hemp twine coated in beeswax. You light the end of the wick from a lighter, then use the flame on the wick rather than the lighter flame itself. The point is that you are burning wax and hemp fibre instead of butane, which changes the taste, and that the flame is smaller and easier to direct.

It is a small thing and it is the sort of item people either swear by or have never heard of. It sits in this aisle rather than with the papers because it is hardware rather than a consumable you roll.

Incense is not a smoking accessory

Nine of the twenty-one lines in this aisle are Multitrance cannabis incense sticks, which makes incense the largest sub-shelf here by some distance and the one most likely to be bought by mistake.

It is incense. You light a stick and it scents a room. It is not smoked, it is not inhaled deliberately, it contains no cannabinoid, and the cannabis in the name describes the fragrance in exactly the way vanilla does on the next stick along.

The range covers dry cannabis and fresh cannabis leaf scents, plus blends with blueberry, coconut, cookies, vanilla, lemon, mango, strawberry, bubblegum, chocolate and Nag Champa. The Haze range extends that to ten scents including Girl Scout Cookies and Lemon Haze. All are sold in 6 packs.

We keep them in this aisle because they are neither a cannabinoid product nor a consumable you roll, and there is nowhere better for them to go. But they are shelved next to grinders and trays across most of the UK market with no explanation at all, and someone shopping quickly could easily assume they are something they are not.

The six brands here, and what we deliberately do not stock

Six names cover the aisle, and the split is unusually clean: RAW does the functional hardware, Multitrance does incense and decorated trays, and the rest fill in around them.

The more useful half of this section is what is missing. Most head shops competing for this term also sell lighters, pipes, bongs, ashtrays, scales and storage jars. We stock none of them. Lighters are an explicit exclusion made by our buyer, and the rest fall outside what a CBD shop should be selling. If that is what you came for, this is the wrong shop and we would rather say so than have you search the site for ten minutes.

Reading the pack counts, and who this aisle is not for

The same labelling problem runs through this shelf as through the papers and the sweets. A bracketed number is a count, and here it is almost always a trade quantity. The RAW 70mm and 79mm machines are 12 packs, the hemp wick is a 40 pack, and every incense line is a 6 pack. If you want one of something, check the listing before ordering, because two of the four hardware lines here are not sold singly.

As for who should skip this aisle: anyone looking for a cannabinoid. There is not one in here, and that is the point of the first section.

Anyone who wants a metal grinder should buy a metal grinder. Ours are hemp composite, which is lighter and biodegradable and genuinely less durable. It is the right choice on environmental grounds and the wrong one if you drop things.

Anyone who needs a lighter, a pipe, an ashtray, scales or a storage jar will not find one here and will not in future either.

And anyone buying incense expecting anything other than a scented room is buying the wrong product, which is a sentence no other page in this category has thought worth writing.
