CBD Vapes UK
Every CBD vape in this aisle is rechargeable and takes a replaceable pod or cartridge, because single-use disposables have been illegal to sell in the UK since 1 June 2025 and that includes CBD ones. What replaced them behaves almost identically: a kit you charge, a sealed pod you click in, the same strain and fruit flavours. The part nobody explains is what to buy second. Pod systems are proprietary, so the kit you choose today decides which refills you can order for the next two years. This page maps every kit we stock to the pod that fits it, compares seven brands side by side, and sets out where CBD vapes actually sit in UK law.

Why nothing here is called a disposable
Single-use vapes have been unlawful to sell in the UK since 1 June 2025, CBD ones included, so everything here charges and takes a replaceable pod or cartridge.
The Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) Regulations 2024 came into force on 1 June 2025. From that date it became unlawful to sell or supply a single-use vape in the UK, meaning any device with a fixed battery, a fixed coil and a tank you cannot refill. The rules make no distinction between nicotine, nicotine-free and CBD. A CBD disposable is as banned as any other.
You would not know it from the search results. Two of the pages ranking above this one still carry the word disposable in their page titles and their URLs, and one is a CBD brand's own collection built entirely around a format it can no longer legally sell. The word survives because that is what people still search for, which is fair enough, but a listing using it in 2026 is either describing something else or describing something it should not be selling.
What legitimately replaced the format is the rechargeable pod kit. Two things make a device compliant: it charges, usually over USB-C, and the part holding the liquid comes out and is replaced. Both are visible on the product before you buy. If a device has neither, no UK shop should be selling it.
In use the difference is small. A modern pod kit is auto-draw, so there is no button, and a sealed pod clicks into the battery in a second. What changes is what you do when it runs out: instead of binning the whole thing, you charge the battery and order another pod, which is the entire point of the regulation. The ban itself is explained in are CBD disposables banned in the UK.
- 1 June 2025
- single-use vapes banned, CBD included
- 2 checks
- it charges, and the part holding the liquid comes out
- 10ml
- the largest pod here; the 2ml nicotine cap does not apply
The five things in this aisle, and which one you need
First CBD vape: buy a pod kit. Everything else on this shelf exists to keep a kit you already own running.
This aisle is sorted by hardware rather than by brand, because the hardware decision comes first and constrains everything after it.
If this is your first CBD vape, buy a pod kit. It contains the device and a filled pod together, so nothing else is required, and it settles which refills you will be ordering afterwards. Everything else in this aisle exists to keep a kit you already own running.
| Format | What you get | How it refills | Who it suits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pod Kits | A rechargeable battery and a filled pod, sold together | Order matching refill pods from the same brand | First purchase. Start here unless you already own hardware. |
| Prefilled Pods | Sealed, filled pods with no battery | They are the refill | Anyone who already owns the matching kit. Check the pairing before ordering. |
| Cartridges | A filled cartridge on the 510 screw thread | Unscrew the empty, screw on the next | People who own a 510 battery pen, or want one battery that takes several brands. |
| Batteries and Devices | The hardware on its own, no liquid | Not applicable | Replacing a lost or worn-out battery without rebuying a whole kit. |
| Vaporisers | Dry herb hardware. No CBD inside it at all. | Not applicable | A different activity entirely. See the section below before assuming this is a CBD vape. |
Buy the kit once, then order the pod that fits it
Pod systems are proprietary. The kit you buy today decides which refills you can order for as long as you own it.
Here is the thing that decides whether you are happy with a CBD vape six months from now, and the thing not one page in this search result set publishes. Pod systems are proprietary. A Darwin pod does not fit an Aztec device, a Hurb pod does not fit an Orange County one, and no amount of pushing changes that. The kit you buy is a commitment to that brand's refills.
Cartridges are the exception. They use the 510 screw thread, which is the closest thing vaping has to a universal fitting, so a 510 battery pen will take cartridges from more than one brand. That is the argument for going the cartridge route rather than the pod route, and it is why Iguana Smoke sells a plain 510 battery pen on its own.
Every kit we stock has a matching refill in the same flavour range. The table below is that mapping, so you can see what you will be reordering before you commit to a device, and the live table after it is read from today's shelf, so it only shows pairs that can actually be shipped.

Seven brands, and what each is doing differently
Darwin labels most honestly, Aztec has the deepest flavour range, Orange County runs two unrelated systems, Iguana Smoke owns the 510 route, Cannapower adds 510 cartridges, Hurb keeps to one device, and Professor Herb sells both CBD and H4CBD pods.
The page currently ranking first for the pod-kit angle compares three products from three brands. Two of those brands are ones neither of our distributors carries, so it is a shortlist rather than a survey. We hold seven brands in this aisle, which makes an actual comparison possible.
Below the hand-written table is a live one read from the shelf, which is the place to check what is in stock before you settle on a brand.
| Brand | Formats here | Extract | Flavours | What sets it apart |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Darwin CBD | Two pod kits, two refill pod packs | Isolate, in CBD and CBD plus CBG versions | Eleven per range, two separate ranges | The clearest labelling in the aisle. Darwin publishes puff counts and the amount of CBD in a puff on its own packaging, which almost nobody does. |
| Orange County CBD | Two pod systems, two refill pods | Broad-spectrum distillate at 750mg, isolate CBD plus CBG at 2000mg | Ten strain-named on the distillate, five fruit on the CBD plus CBG | Two unrelated systems under one brand. The distillate pods are strain-led and small; the 6000 puff device is fruit-led and long-running. |
| Aztec CBD | Pod system, pods, cartridge kit, cartridges | Full spectrum on the 55 percent cartridges, broad spectrum on the premium pods | Fifteen on the pod system, ten on the cartridges | The widest flavour choice here by a distance, and the only brand selling both a pod system and a 510 cartridge line. |
| Iguana Smoke | I-Puff kit, refill pods, a spare battery, a 510 cartridge and 510 battery pens | Full spectrum | Seven, shared across the range | The only brand covering hardware properly: a battery you can buy on its own, and a 510 pen that takes cartridges from more than one brand. |
| Hurb | One pod device, one refill pod | Isolate, CBD plus CBG | Six | One system, done simply, with 10ml pods rather than the 1ml and 2ml usual elsewhere. |
| Professor Herb | CBD pod kit and refill pod, H4CBD pod kit and refill pod, dry herb vaporiser | Full spectrum, in a CBD version and an H4CBD version | Three on each | The same hardware sold two ways. The H4CBD pair is not CBD, and the vaporiser is hardware with nothing in it. |
| Cannapower | Three 510 cartridges, half a gram each | Isolate, sold as CBD with CBG | Three: citrus, mixed berry, tropical | The newest line here. No CBD or CBG figure is published for the half-gram carts by anyone, and each product page says so. |
Reading the strength on a pod
Strength is labelled three ways here, as a milligram total, a percentage, or a puff count, and none of the three converts cleanly into the others.
Vape strengths are labelled three different ways in this aisle, which is why comparing two devices on the front of the box rarely works.
Milligrams are the most common. A figure like 750mg or 2000mg is the total in the pod or the pair of pods, so a pack sold as 600mg (2 x 300mg) holds 300mg in each of two pods rather than 600mg in one. Read the bracket, not the headline.
Percentages appear on the concentrate lines. Aztec's cartridges are labelled 55 percent, which describes how much of the liquid is cannabinoid extract rather than carrier. Orange County splits the difference and prints both, listing its CBD plus CBG device as 2000mg and 10 percent. The conversion is the same as it is for oil: 10 percent is about 100mg in every millilitre.
Puff counts are the third. They are the most intuitive figure and the least standardised, since a long slow draw takes more liquid than a short one. Darwin is the useful example because it publishes both halves of the arithmetic on its own packaging: up to 600 puffs from a pod, at about 0.5mg of CBD in each puff, which is how 300mg in a 2ml pod turns into something you can actually picture. Orange County's 6000 puff device sits at the other end of the scale.
Two practical points. Concentration and total are not the same thing, so a small high-percentage cartridge can be stronger per draw than a large pod with a bigger number on it. And CBD plus CBG lines, which Darwin, Orange County and Hurb all sell, blend two cannabinoids rather than doubling the CBD. CBG is a separate, non-intoxicating cannabinoid, not a stronger version of CBD.
Where CBD vapes sit in UK law, and where they do not
Three rules apply: the single-use ban, the 1mg controlled-cannabinoid limit per container, and the fact that Novel Foods does not reach a vape at all.
Pages in this search result set tend to mention one of the three and skip the others. The full version of the second one is in is CBD legal in the UK.
First, the single-use ban already covered above. That one is about the hardware and nothing else.
Second, the cannabinoid limit. A CBD product may be sold in the UK when it holds no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in the whole container. Per container, not per puff and not as a percentage of the liquid. The percentage-of-THC figure quoted on several competing pages, and in Google's own summary for this search, is a hemp cultivation rule describing what a licensed farmer may grow. It has never been the test for a finished product. That distinction matters most for the full-spectrum lines here, from Aztec, Iguana Smoke and Professor Herb, and we require the batch certificate from our distributors on every one of them.
Third, and this is the one nobody states: CBD vapes sit outside the Novel Foods regime. Novel Foods applies to things you eat and drink, which is why our gummies and oils are inside it and a vape is not. If a listing implies FSA authorisation covers its vape, it is misapplying a rule that does not reach this aisle. That cuts both ways, and it is worth knowing rather than being reassured by a badge that means nothing here.
One more thing that looks like a contradiction until it is explained. You may have noticed our Hurb pods are 10ml, when the nicotine vape you bought last year was capped at 2ml. The 2ml tank limit and the 10ml bottle limit are nicotine rules under the tobacco and related products regulations. Everything in this aisle is nicotine-free, so those limits do not bind, which is why CBD pod capacities vary far more widely than nicotine ones.
The rest is the usual and applies without exception. These are over-18s products. They are not medicines, and nobody selling them may tell you what they do for a health condition. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or taking prescription medication, speak to a GP or pharmacist first.
Flavours, terpenes and why everything is named after a strain
A strain name is a flavour claim from terpenes, not a potency claim. A fruit name is exactly what it says.
Two naming conventions run through this aisle and they signal different things.
Strain names such as Zkittlez, Gorilla Glue, Super Lemon Haze, White Widow and Wedding Cake come from terpenes, the aromatic compounds that give a cannabis variety its smell. A CBD vape carrying a strain name is flavoured with a terpene profile matching that variety. It is a flavour claim, not a potency claim, and it tells you nothing about strength. Aztec, Orange County's distillate line and Iguana Smoke all use this convention.
Fruit and confectionery names, which Darwin and Orange County's CBD plus CBG device use, are exactly what they sound like. Bubblegum, Cola Cubes, Pink Lemonade, Watermelon Ice. If cannabis-tasting vapour is not what you want, that is the half of the aisle to shop.
Menthol is worth calling out separately because it is easy to buy by accident. Darwin's ranges include several menthol mixes, and Ice Mint appears on the Aztec cartridges but not on the kit, which is one of the odder inconsistencies in the aisle and worth checking before you order a matched pair.
Flavour range is also the practical argument for one brand over another. Aztec's fifteen give you somewhere to go when you tire of one. Hurb's six do not. That is not a criticism of either, but it is the thing people regret after buying the device rather than before.
Not everything on this shelf is a CBD vape
Two categories of product in this aisle are not what the aisle name implies, and we would rather say so here than let you work it out at the checkout.
The H4CBD lines are the Professor Herb 1000mg H4CBD pod kit and its refill pod, which share their hardware with the CBD pair of the same name. It is sold because people report it as considerably stronger. We list these lines because our buyer chose to, having seen the full argument, and we flag them rather than filing them quietly among the CBD pods. The rest of the H4CBD range sits in the hemp and hash aisle, and what is H4CBD explains the molecule.
The other is the Professor Herb dry herb vaporiser. It is hardware. It heats dried plant material you supply yourself and contains no CBD, no liquid and no pod. It sits in this aisle because it is a vaporiser, which is a format, and formats are how this shop is organised. If you were looking for something to inhale CBD from out of the box, it is not that.
When a CBD vape is the wrong purchase
Vaping is the fastest way to take CBD, and it is still the wrong format for a lot of people who arrive on this page.
Under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding: none of this is for you.
Not for you if
- You do not already vape. Inhaling anything carries risk that swallowing a gummy does not, and the same cannabinoid is in CBD oil and CBD gummies without it
- You want something long-lasting from one purchase. A pod is hundreds of puffs across a few days; a 30ml bottle of oil lasts weeks
- Your workplace tests for drugs. A good part of this aisle is full spectrum. Isolate and broad spectrum are the conservative choice, and no retailer can promise a result on any of them
- You expect to keep switching flavours. Check the flavour list before the device: a six-flavour system when you wanted fifteen is the most common regret here
- What you want is the effect people describe from H4CBD. That is not a CBD vape; the hemp and hash aisle sets out what those products are
Keeping a pod kit working
CBD vape liquid is thicker than nicotine e-liquid because there is a cannabinoid extract suspended in it, and nearly every complaint about these devices traces back to that one fact.
Cloudy pod or crystals
A pod left somewhere cold can go cloudy or throw visible crystals, which looks like a fault and generally is not. Warm it in a hand or a pocket for a few minutes and roll it gently. Not a radiator.
Give a new pod a minute
Thick liquid takes longer to soak into the wick than nicotine liquid does, and firing a dry coil is the fastest way to ruin a pod you have just clicked in. Short, gentle draws work better than long hard ones on almost every device here.
Charge and store it properly
Use the cable the kit came with or an equivalent, and do not leave a device charging overnight out of habit. Store it upright and out of direct sun: a warm car does the same thing to a pod that it does to a bag of gummies.
Thin vapour, flat flavour: that is the pod
Not the battery. Order the refill listed against your kit in the table above, keep the battery, and you are back where you started for a fraction of the waste the old format produced.
Questions people ask
Why does nothing on this page say disposable?
Because single-use vapes have been unlawful to sell in the UK since 1 June 2025 under the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) Regulations 2024, and the ban covers CBD devices as well as nicotine ones. Everything here is rechargeable with a replaceable pod or cartridge. Listings elsewhere still use the word because that is what people search for, not because the format came back.
Will a pod from one brand fit another brand's kit?
No. Pod systems are proprietary, so a Darwin pod will not fit an Aztec or Hurb device and vice versa. Cartridges are the exception, because the 510 screw thread is effectively universal and one 510 battery pen will take cartridges from several brands. Check the kit-to-refill table above before ordering a refill on its own.
How many puffs does a CBD pod give?
It depends on the pod and on how you draw, but Darwin publishes the clearest figures in this aisle: up to 600 puffs from a single pod at roughly 0.5mg of CBD in each. At the other end, Orange County's CBD plus CBG device is rated at 6000 puffs. Long slow draws use more liquid than short ones, so any published puff count is an upper figure rather than a promise.
Why does a new pod taste burnt on the first draw?
Almost always because it was fired before the wick had soaked. CBD vape liquid is thicker than nicotine liquid, so it takes longer to work its way into the coil, and a minute of standing after clicking a fresh pod in prevents most of it. Short, gentle draws help too. Once a coil has actually burnt, no amount of resting brings it back.
Why are some CBD pods 10ml when nicotine vapes are limited to 2ml?
The 2ml tank and 10ml bottle limits come from the tobacco and related products regulations, which govern nicotine. Everything in this aisle is nicotine-free, so those particular limits do not bind, which is why our Hurb pods hold 10ml while a nicotine pod cannot. It looks like an inconsistency and is simply two different rulebooks.
What is the difference between a percentage and a milligram figure on a pod?
A milligram figure is the total cannabinoid in the pod. A percentage describes concentration, meaning how much of the liquid is extract rather than carrier, and converts at roughly 100mg per millilitre for every 10 percent. A small 55 percent cartridge can therefore hit harder per draw than a larger pod carrying a bigger milligram number.
My pod has gone cloudy or grown crystals. Is it ruined?
Almost certainly not. CBD vape liquid is thicker than nicotine liquid and can cloud or crystallise when it gets cold. Warming the pod in your hand for a few minutes and rolling it gently usually clears it. Do not apply direct heat, and do not fire a pod repeatedly while it is still cold and thick, which is how coils get burnt.
Which lines in this aisle are not actually CBD?
The Professor Herb 1000mg H4CBD pod kit and its refill pod are H4CBD, a semi-synthetic hydrogenated cannabinoid rather than CBD. The Professor Herb dry herb vaporiser is hardware and contains nothing at all. Everything else on the page is CBD, in isolate, broad-spectrum or full-spectrum form.
Do these contain nicotine, and will they get me high?
No nicotine, in any line on this page, and Darwin prints that on the pack. As for the second half, CBD and CBG are both non-intoxicating. The full-spectrum lines retain the trace cannabinoids that come with the plant, held to the same 1mg per container limit as everything else, so they are not intoxicating either. The H4CBD lines are a separate matter and are flagged above.
