The Iguana Smoke I-Puff Replacement Pod 700mg is a 1ml prefilled CBD pod with a CCELL ceramic coil, made for the Iguana Smoke I-Puff device and for nothing else. That last part is the single most useful thing anyone can tell you before you buy, and none of the pages currently selling this pod says it plainly. A closed pod system is a commitment to one manufacturer, and it is worth understanding what that means while the decision is still reversible.

What a closed pod system commits you to

Vape hardware splits into open and closed formats, and the difference decides what you can buy for the next year, not just today.

An open system uses a standard fitting. The 510 thread is the obvious example: a 510 cartridge screws onto any 510 battery from any brand, so if a manufacturer discontinues a flavour or stops trading you simply buy someone else's cartridge and carry on.

A closed system is proprietary. The I-Puff pod is shaped and contacted to fit the I-Puff device, and no other pod fits that device and no other device takes that pod. Everything that follows from buying the kit runs through one company: the flavour range is theirs, the availability is theirs, and if the line is discontinued the battery becomes a paperweight.

That is not automatically a bad thing. Closed systems are easier, they cannot leak from a badly seated seal, and the pairing of coil to liquid is designed as one unit rather than assembled by you. It is a real convenience and plenty of people buy it deliberately.

But it is a choice with consequences, and you should make it knowingly. If the idea of being tied to one brand's flavour list bothers you, buy a 510 cartridge and a standard battery instead, and the sibling links below will take you there.

The CCELL ceramic coil and why it is named on the box

CCELL is a coil manufacturer rather than a marketing word, and it is named on this pod because the coil is doing unusually hard work.

The fill here is a thick cannabinoid distillate rather than a thin nicotine e-liquid. Thick liquid does not wick well through cotton, which is why cannabinoid pods and cartridges moved to porous ceramic. Ceramic draws the distillate through a rigid heated body instead, which handles viscosity better and is far less prone to the dry hits that ruin a cotton coil fed with something too thick for it.

The practical effect is that flavour holds up more consistently through a pod, and the burnt taste that comes from a starved wick is much rarer. It is also the reason the pod cannot be refilled sensibly: a ceramic element is not designed to be flushed and reloaded, and attempting it usually kills the pod.

The device it fits charges over USB-C and the battery is reusable. No manufacturer in the chain publishes a capacity figure for it, so we are not going to invent one. If battery life is a deciding factor, ask us and we will get the number from the supplier rather than guessing at it.

The seven flavours in the pod range

The pod range carries the same seven terpene profiles as the 510 cartridges, so nothing is lost by choosing the closed format on flavour grounds.

The flavours are built from terpenes named after cannabis strains, which is a different proposition from a fruit e-liquid. Four of the seven taste of the plant. Three are recognisable fruit flavours and are much the easier starting point.

The smaller 1ml fill is genuinely useful here. A cartridge at twice the size is a long commitment to a profile you might not like, whereas a single pod is a reasonable way to find out whether the herbal end of the range suits you at all. That is the strongest argument for starting in this format rather than the other one.

All seven were in stock as this page was written.

Three different THC claims from one supply chain

Here is something we noticed while researching this pod that nobody else appears to have.

The identical distillate is described three different ways by three parties in the same chain. The brand's UK retail site says zero THC. A retailer selling it says THC free and UK compliant. And the brand's own UK wholesale site, selling the same pod to trade, says the THC level is non-detectable.

Those are not the same statement. Non-detectable means an instrument looked and found nothing above its detection limit, which for the method used here is one hundredth of a per cent. Zero is an absolute claim that no laboratory method can actually support. The wholesale wording is the accurate one, and it is the only one of the three that matches what the brand's own lab report says.

It is a small thing and we are not making a scandal of it. We are pointing it out because a buyer comparing pages would reasonably assume three identical claims where there are in fact three different degrees of confidence, and the most careful wording is the one hidden on the trade site.

What the lab report covers, and what it leaves open

Iguana Smoke publishes a lab report that covers the cartridges and the I-Puff line together, so it applies to this pod. We read the document in full and set out the whole cannabinoid table on the cartridge page rather than repeating it here.

Three points from it bear directly on this pod. Delta-9 and delta-8 THC are both reported as not detected, which supports the non-detectable wording above. CBN is detected at 0.23 per cent, and CBN is one of the controlled cannabinoids counted alongside THC in the UK test. And the batch number field on the report reads NA, which makes it a document about a product line rather than about any particular production run.

There is also a mismatch worth knowing: the report assays CBD at just under forty per cent where the pod is advertised at seventy. We have asked our distributor to explain it and we will publish what comes back.

So rather than assert a compliance position we cannot evidence, here is a plain account of what is settled and what is not.

QuestionPosition
Does it contain nicotineNo. Stated consistently by the brand and every retailer
Is THC detectedNo. Reported as not detected below a 0.01 per cent limit
Is any controlled cannabinoid detectedYes. CBN at 0.23 per cent on the published report
Does the report cover the pod I would receiveNo. The batch number field reads NA
Does the CBD figure match the advertised strengthNo. Assayed at just under 40 per cent against 70 advertised
Is a per-batch certificate availableNot yet. Requested from our distributor
Does FSA Novel Foods applyNo. Vapes sit outside that regime

Prefilled pods and the single-use vape ban

Single-use vapes have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025 under the Environmental Protection regulations, and the ban is regularly misunderstood in both directions.

What it prohibits is a vape that can neither be refilled nor recharged. A prefilled pod system is neither of those things: the battery recharges over USB-C and the pod is replaceable, which is exactly the format the regulations were designed to move the market towards. Buying a replacement pod is the behaviour the ban intended.

The other rule people arrive with is about cannabinoid content, and it is almost always stated wrongly. The figure repeated across UK CBD retail, that a product passes if it holds under a fifth of a per cent THC, is a Home Office rule about growing a hemp crop. It is not the consumer test.

The consumer test is a limit of one milligram of controlled cannabinoids per container, regardless of the container's size, and the controlled list includes THCV and CBN as well as THC. That is precisely why the CBN figure in the section above matters and why a report showing no THC does not settle the question on its own.

One thing that is settled: CBD vapes fall outside the FSA Novel Foods regime, which governs ingestible CBD such as oils and gummies. No Novel Foods listing applies to a pod and none should be expected.

Pod, cartridge or the whole kit

If you already own the I-Puff device, this pod is the only refill that fits it and the decision is made. If you do not, there are three routes into the same terpene range and they are not equivalent.

The starter pack is the sensible entry point because it pairs the device with a pod in one box. This replacement pod on its own is for people who already have the battery. And the 510 cartridge is the open-format alternative for anyone who would rather not be tied to one manufacturer at all.

Who should not buy this pod

If you do not own an I-Puff device, this pod will not work with anything you have. It is not a universal refill and it will not fit another brand's system. Buy the starter pack instead.

If you are subject to workplace or roadside drug testing, avoid full spectrum products across the board. The published report shows no THC detected, but it carries no batch number, and a screening test is indifferent to what the packaging says. Our guide to CBD and drug testing is linked below.

If you want documentation covering the exact pod you receive, we do not have it yet. We are chasing the per-batch report and will publish it here. Wait for it rather than ordering if that certainty is the reason you are here.

And if you dislike being locked to one brand, this is the wrong format for you regardless of how good the pod is. That is an argument about the system, not the liquid, and the 510 cartridge answers it.

Frequently asked questions

Will an I-Puff pod fit any other vape device?
No. The I-Puff is a closed system, so the pod is shaped and contacted for that device alone and no third-party pod fits it either. If you want hardware you can mix and match, choose a 510 cartridge and a standard 510 battery instead, which work across brands.
Can you refill an empty I-Puff pod?
It is not designed to be refilled and attempting it usually ruins the pod. The ceramic element inside is built to wick thick distillate in one direction over one fill, not to be flushed and reloaded, and a part-cleaned ceramic coil tends to taste burnt from the first draw onwards.
What does CCELL mean on a CBD pod?
CCELL is the coil manufacturer, and the name signals a porous ceramic heating element rather than a cotton wick. Ceramic handles thick cannabinoid distillate far better than cotton, which starves and burns when fed something too viscous for it, so flavour stays more consistent across the pod.
How long does one 1ml I-Puff pod last?
The figures published across the supply chain do not agree: the brand says roughly 300 to 400 puffs and one retailer says up to 300. Take the lower number as the working estimate, since draw length and how hard you pull change the result more than any published figure accounts for.
Is the I-Puff pod affected by the UK ban on single-use vapes?
No. The 2025 ban covers vapes that can be neither refilled nor recharged. The I-Puff has a USB-C rechargeable battery and a replaceable pod, which is the format the regulations were written to encourage. Buying a replacement pod rather than a whole new device is the intended behaviour.
Do I-Puff pods come in the same flavours as the 510 cartridges?
Yes, all seven profiles carry across both formats: Amnesia, Gelato, Gorilla Glue, Lemon Haze, Mango, Red Berries and Strawberry. The smaller 1ml pod is the better way to test whether the strain-named terpene flavours suit you before committing to a larger cartridge.
Why do different sites describe the THC content differently?
We noticed this too. The brand's retail site says zero THC, a retailer says THC free, and the brand's own wholesale site says non-detectable. Non-detectable is the accurate phrasing and the only one that matches the published lab report, where THC is reported below a 0.01 per cent detection limit.
Does an I-Puff pod contain nicotine?
No. There is no nicotine in any pod in the range and none is claimed by any party in the supply chain, which is the one specification everyone states consistently. It is still sold to over-18s only, as all CBD vapes are.
