What is actually in the box

A kit means the device and one pod, and it is worth being precise about that because the word covers very different things across this category.

You get the rechargeable battery, which is the part you keep, and one pre-filled 1ml pod of whichever flavour you chose, which is the part you replace. There is no second pod and no spare. The pod is sealed rather than refillable, so when it is empty it comes off and a new one goes on.

The pod attaches magnetically rather than screwing on, so there is nothing to thread or overtighten. The mouthpiece is part of the pod, which means every replacement gives you a fresh one, and it also means there is no separate drip tip to lose.

Charging is over USB-C, which is worth saying because it is the one specification most people actually want and nobody prints it. A cable is not something we can confirm is included, since the manufacturer does not list box contents beyond the device and pod, so assume you are using one you already own.

The hardware specification nobody publishes

The device is a CCELL Eazie. CCELL is a hardware manufacturer that makes pod systems and cartridges for other brands to fill, which is why the same platform turns up under several different cannabinoid labels.

That is useful, because it means the specification is published by CCELL even when the brand filling it publishes nothing. Everything in the table below comes from the platform's actual maker.

Two things in it are worth pulling out. The device is inhale-activated, so there is no button: you draw on it and it fires. And the coil is a ceramic heating core rather than the cotton-wrapped wire in a conventional vape, which is the usual choice for thick cannabinoid distillates because it heats evenly and is less prone to scorching.

The honest caveat is the battery. At 265mAh it is small. Plenty of pod kits run between 350 and 600mAh, so against a full 1ml pod you should expect to be charging this during the pod's life rather than once at the end of it. Nobody selling it mentions that, and it is the kind of thing you would rather know before it happens on a train.

Rechargeable and replaceable, which is why it is not a banned disposable

Single-use vapes have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025, under the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) Regulations 2024. That ban covers CBD disposables exactly as it covers nicotine ones, and it is the reason the whole category moved to devices like this one.

This kit is on the right side of that line for two reasons together: the battery recharges, and the pod can be detached and replaced. A device that fails either test is a single-use vape. CCELL markets the Eazie platform as compliant with the ban on precisely that basis.

Now the distinction that no page anywhere draws, and it matters here more than on most products. Whether a device is a banned disposable and whether what is inside it is lawful are two entirely separate questions. The disposables regulations are about how the thing is built and thrown away. They say nothing at all about which cannabinoid is in the pod. So this kit not being a banned disposable tells you nothing about the H4CBD in it, whose UK position is governed by completely different legislation and is genuinely contested. Both questions matter. Neither answers the other.

Why the kit comes in three flavours, and what that means for buying

Professor Herb sells this kit as three separate products rather than one device with a flavour choice: Original, Lemon Haze and Blueberry, each supplied with a pod of that flavour. The replacement pods come in the same three.

The practical consequence is simple and nobody spells it out. If you want a second flavour, you need a replacement pod, not a second kit. The battery is the same battery whichever flavour you started with, and the pod is the only part that carries the flavour. Buying a second kit would leave you with a spare device you have no use for.

So the sensible way to approach it is to think of the kit as the thing you buy once and the pods as the thing you buy repeatedly. If you already own the device, the replacement pod page is where you should be rather than here.

An open platform rather than a locked one

This is the argument in the kit's favour that nobody makes, and it is worth understanding before you commit to any cannabinoid device.

CCELL sells the Eazie system openly, and other brands fill pods on the same platform. CCELL's own version of the pod is refillable, with filling holes designed into it. Professor Herb's implementation is a sealed pre-filled pod instead, which is a choice about this product rather than a limitation of the hardware.

What that means in practice is that you are buying a standard battery rather than a proprietary one tied to a single supplier. We are not going to promise you that other brands' Eazie pods will fit this battery, because we have not tested it and nobody publishes a compatibility statement. But it is a materially different position from a device built to accept one brand's pods and nothing else.

That matters more here than it would on a CBD device. H4CBD's UK status is contested and under review by the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs, so there is a real possibility of these pods becoming harder to obtain. If that happened, a proprietary device would become a paperweight. A standard Eazie battery would not. We would rather you weighed that up than found out later.

The labelling problems, in short

Three things about how this product is described are worth knowing, and we have set them out in full on the replacement pod page rather than repeating the whole argument here.

In brief: the words full spectrum cannot properly describe H4CBD, because full spectrum means a plant extract that kept what the plant made, and H4CBD is a laboratory-made molecule the plant does not produce. Separately, Professor Herb's own website says the high-inducing THC in its H4CBD range has been removed or reduced, which is the definition of broad spectrum rather than full, so the pack and the maker's own site disagree. And the brand's claim that H4CBD is a hundred times more effective than CBD rests on a laboratory measurement of receptor binding rather than on effectiveness, with serious analysis putting the practical difference far lower.

Because we cannot establish the grade from the labelling, we publish no THC figure for this product and will not until we hold a per-batch certificate of analysis. The UK consumer test is an absolute quantity, no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in the container, and we are not going to imply compliance with it from a label we cannot reconcile.

One more point of precision that gets flattened everywhere: H4CBD holds no Novel Foods authorisation, but Novel Foods governs what you eat and drink. A pod is inhaled, so that regime is not the live question here. The Psychoactive Substances Act one is.

Kit, pod, or something that is actually CBD

Three different purchases get confused around this product, so here they are separated.

If you do not own the device, this kit is where you start. If you already own it, you want a replacement pod. And if what you were really after was cannabidiol rather than a semi-synthetic, the same brand makes a CBD vape liquid, which is a different kind of product needing a refillable tank rather than a pod battery.

Who should not buy this

If you already own the device, do not buy the kit again. You want a replacement pod, and a second battery does nothing for you.

If you are a heavy all-day user, 265mAh will frustrate you. It is a small battery, and there are pod kits with roughly twice the capacity if you do not want to carry a cable.

If you want CBD, this is not it. H4CBD is a different molecule and the resemblance in the names is the only thing the two share on a shelf.

If regulatory certainty matters to you, buy elsewhere in our range. H4CBD's position is contested and under active review, and this page has been explicit about that rather than dressing it up.
