The vape range, and what 510 compatibility actually buys you

Aztec's vape range splits into two families that work quite differently, and the split is not obvious from a product grid.

The 55 per cent cartridges and the vape kit built around them use a 510 thread. That is the universal connector most vape batteries in the world use, which means the cartridge is not tied to Aztec hardware at all. If you already own a 510 battery, you can buy the cartridges alone. If you do not, the kit pairs them with one. Either way you are not locked into a single manufacturer's ecosystem, and you are not throwing away a battery when the cartridge is done. In a category that spent years selling sealed disposables, that is worth more than the flavour list.

The Premium pod family is the other half, and it is a closed pod system: the 2ml pod device and the 2x2ml refill pods that fit it. Here the numbers need reading carefully. The pod system carries 2,000mg in 2ml and the refill pack carries 4,000mg in two 2ml pods. Those are the same concentration. The larger number is two pods, not a stronger one.

Fifteen flavours run across both pod lines, ten across the cartridges and nine across the kit, which is why ten products become 55 variants. It is the widest flavour spread of any brand we stock, and it is the actual reason people come back to Aztec rather than any claim on the box.

Full spectrum, or nothing at all: a labelling question worth asking

Here is something no other page selling this brand has picked up, and we would rather raise it than pretend we did not see it.

The box art for the 55 per cent cartridges and the vape kit prints the words full spectrum across the front, alongside the strength. Our own listings record both lines as full spectrum. The retailer with the largest page about this brand describes Aztec as a full-spectrum producer. So far, consistent.

But the brand's own product page for those same cartridges states that the contents are non-psychoactive cannabidiol at zero per cent THC. Full spectrum, by definition, means the extract deliberately retains the plant's other cannabinoids rather than stripping them out, and THC is one of them. An extract cannot straightforwardly be both.

We are not suggesting anyone is being dishonest. There are ordinary explanations: the product page copy may predate a reformulation, or zero may be shorthand for below a detection threshold, or the two descriptions may belong to different production runs. What we cannot do is pick whichever one suits us and print it as fact.

So our position is the boring, correct one. We publish no THC figure for the two full-spectrum Aztec lines, we have asked our distributor for the per-batch certificate, and we will update this page when it arrives. Notably, the brand does distinguish the two grades elsewhere in its own packaging: the 4,000mg pod pouch carries a broad spectrum roundel rather than a full spectrum one, which is exactly the distinction you would expect a careful producer to draw. That makes the cartridge wording more likely to be a copy problem than a product one, but it is still a certificate that settles it, not an inference.

Who Aztec are, and what we do and do not carry

Aztec CBD registers from an address in west London and sources its hemp from European farms, describing the seed stock as European certified. Independent retailers writing about the brand put its founding around 2016 and credit it as one of the earlier UK CBD names, using supercritical carbon dioxide extraction. Some summaries describe the company as EU based and others as UK based, which is the same muddle we found with Orange County: the registration is British, the agriculture is continental, and both facts get compressed into one wrong sentence.

The brand's wider range is bigger than ours. Aztec make oil drops, e-liquids, pouches and a CBD wax that we do not carry, and the poster above shows their oil range rather than anything on our shelves. We list the vape hardware, the cartridges, the pods and the gummies. That is what our distributor supplies, not a judgement on the rest.

On documentation, Aztec maintain a lab report section on their site. What we could not find is a certificate attached to an individual product page, including on the cartridges, which is where a buyer weighing a full-spectrum purchase would actually look. That places them in the same bracket as Professor Herb: a general commitment to testing without a per-product document behind it, which is better than the brands that publish nothing and short of the ones that link a batch certificate from the item itself.

Three gummy brands, three meanings for the same number

Aztec's gummies are six shapes at one strength: 900mg, isolate, across Dew Drops, Dummies, Fizzy Bears, Fizzy Bottles, Fizzy Cherries and Worms. There is no strength ladder at all. You pick a shape.

That is worth putting beside the other two gummy specialists on this site, because between them they demonstrate that a milligram figure on the front of a sweet packet can mean three entirely different things.

Hempthy fixes the sweet at 20mg and varies how many are in the bag, so their bigger number means more sweets at identical strength. Cannapower fixes the pack at 125g and varies how much is dispersed through it, so their bigger number genuinely is stronger. Aztec fixes the number at 900mg and varies only the shape, so their number means nothing comparative at all: it is the same product in a different mould.

Nobody selling any of the three explains this, and it is the reason cross-brand comparison in this category is so unreliable. If you take one thing from this page, take that: read what the number is measuring before you compare it with another brand's.

Where Aztec is strong, and where it is not

Strong: the vape range, clearly. Fifty-five variants across four lines, a 510 format that does not lock you to their hardware, and a flavour spread nothing else here matches. If you vape and you want choice, this is the brand.

Also strong: the pod system is a rechargeable device with separately sold refills. Single-use vapes have been illegal to sell in the UK since 1 June 2025, and a refillable pod device is the format that replaced them properly rather than a disposable with a charging port bolted on.

Weaker: the cartridge labelling question above, which is unresolved until a certificate lands.

Weaker: no per-product certificate. On a brand whose flagship line is full spectrum, that is the one document that matters most and it is the one that is hardest to find.

Weaker: the gummies are an afterthought next to the vape range. One strength, no ladder, isolate only. They are fine, and if gummies are what you came for, two other brands here do the job with more thought behind them.

Weaker: all ten lines reach us through a single distributor. That is now the fourth brand running with no second supply route, and it is worth you knowing that availability rests on one line rather than two.

Who should not start here: anyone who wants oil drops, balms or capsules, none of which we carry from this brand. Orange County covers oil across ten strengths and publishes the certificates to go with it. Anyone who wants a considered gummy range should look at Hempthy for breadth or Cannapower for a real strength choice. And anyone who wants to be certain about THC content today, rather than when a certificate arrives, should take one of the broad-spectrum or isolate lines rather than the 55 per cent cartridges.

Dosage, and a number you should ignore

The largest page currently ranking for this brand publishes a dosing scheme. It sets amounts by body weight, then gives separate figures for particular conditions, and the top of its range reaches 600 milligrams a day.

We are not going to repeat those figures or those conditions, and we would ask you to disregard them entirely. Two things are wrong with that content. It attaches doses to named conditions, which UK medicines and advertising rules do not permit a retailer to do, and which no CBD seller is qualified to do. And the amounts are unmoored from any published guidance.

The actual position is short. The Food Standards Agency advises healthy adults to keep cannabidiol from food supplements to no more than 10 milligrams a day, revised down from 70 milligrams in February 2023. That is guidance about intake, not a dose, and not a recommendation from us. Six hundred is sixty times it.

This is the third page we have found while researching these brands that publishes a superseded or invented intake figure, on three different domains. It is not one careless retailer, it is a number circulating through the whole category faster than the correction. If you are working out how much to take, take the regulator's figure and speak to a pharmacist or your GP, not a product page.

Where Aztec sits under UK law

The consumer test in the UK is one milligram of controlled cannabinoids in the container. Not a percentage, not per puff, not per serving. The largest competing page for this brand summarises legality only as following the Misuse of Drugs Act, which names the right statute and states none of the test.

The percentage figure that circulates across this category belongs to farming. It caps THC in a standing hemp crop grown under a Home Office cultivation licence, and it has never governed what may be sold to a person.

Two points specific to this brand. First, CBD vapes sit outside the Novel Foods regime entirely, so nothing on this page should be described as Novel Foods authorised, and the gummies are the only lines here to which that regime applies at all. Second, the full-spectrum question above is precisely a per-container question, and the container in this case is a 1ml cartridge, which is why the certificate matters rather than the percentage on the box.

Aztec is widely stocked and easy to find, so the question is what an independent page adds. Three things here.
