Aztec CBD Worms 900mg is a 150g pouch of thirty soft gummy worms carrying 30mg of CBD each, with no sour coating, the long thin shape from the pick and mix counter made in a CBD recipe. It is the only worm-shaped CBD sweet we stock, from any brand, and it is the one Aztec gummy whose shape is built for eating in bites rather than in one go. That turns out to be the most useful thing about it, because a 30mg sweet is a lot for one mouthful and a worm is the easiest shape to portion along its length. This page covers that properly, clears up a Fizzy Worms listing you may have seen elsewhere, and says who should pick a different pouch.

The only gummy worm on our shelf, from any brand

No other product or flavour option in our catalogue is worm shaped, so there is no cross-brand worm comparison to make, and we would rather say that than manufacture one.

Across five brands of CBD gummy we stock bears, bottles, cherries, cubes, rings, strawberries, dummies and drops, and exactly one worm. Orange County makes a worm in the wider market, as our page on its 4,800mg tub notes, but it is not a shape we carry. Cannapower, Hempthy and MediCBD do not make one at all. So if the worm is the shape you want, this is the pouch, and the choice is really between this and a different shape rather than between this and another brand's worm.

The arithmetic is the range standard and reconciles: thirty worms, 30mg each, 900mg a pouch. Three sources give the pouch weight as 150 grams, so a worm is about five grams of gum, long and thin rather than a lump. The published recipe for the range is cannabidiol isolate, glucose syrup, sulphites, sugar, corn starch, water, citric and malic acid, an acidity regulator, flavourings and four colours, set out line by line on our Dew Drops page.

On flavour, the brand's page says the worms are flavoured with cherry, which is the same template sentence it uses for every shape and which is only accurate on the Fizzy Cherries. Gummy worms are classically two-tone mixed fruit, each colour a different flavour, and the ingredient list says only flavourings. We cannot confirm what this pouch tastes of and no seller can; the whole flavour muddle is laid out on our Dummies page. What we can say is that there is no sour crust, so the sweet is all gum, soft and smooth from end to end.

The one Aztec gummy built to be eaten in bites

A worm is a long uniform cylinder with no crust, so it can be bitten into two or three portions more naturally than any other shape in the range, and a third of one is about 10mg, which is the Food Standards Agency's advisory figure.

Every Aztec gummy is 30mg, and the pouch recommends two a day. The Food Standards Agency revised its precautionary advice for healthy adults down to no more than 10mg of CBD a day from food supplements in October 2023, so one whole Aztec sweet of any shape is three times that figure. That is reported, not endorsed, and where the FSA number came from is in our guide to how much CBD to take; we issue no amount of our own.

What a worm gives you that the other shapes do not is a straightforward way to eat less than a whole sweet. It is long, it is the same thickness along its length, and there is no sugar crust to shatter, so biting off a third is tidy and the rest goes back in the resealable pouch. A third of a 30mg worm is about 10mg. A half is about 15mg.

The caveat applies here as it does to every gummy. The CBD is dispersed through the batch of syrup before it is deposited into moulds, not metered into each centimetre, so a third is roughly 10mg rather than exactly 10mg. For a reliably measured 10mg, a sweet made at 10mg is the honest object and our CBD gummies shelf has several. But as a way of taking less of a sweet you already have, the worm is the shape that makes it easy, and that is the practical reason to pick it over the Dummies or the Dew Drops.

How each of the six Aztec shapes divides

Same gum, same 30mg, six shapes, and they differ most in how easily you can eat part of one.

Because strength, count and recipe are identical across the Aztec range, the honest basis for choosing a shape is texture and handling. We have covered the sour-versus-soft split on the other pages. This table covers the other axis: what happens when you want less than a whole sweet.

Two shapes divide well. The Worms, by biting along the length. The Fizzy Cherries, by pulling the two domes apart at the stalk, though the crust is lost on the cut. The Dummies are a solid round gum and divide badly. The Dew Drops and the Fizzy Bears are small enough that cutting them is fiddly and, for the bears, shatters the coating. The Fizzy Bottles are long like a worm but chewier and crusted.

The live comparison under the table reads today's shelf and sorts by strength and extract, so it shows which shapes are in stock now.

About that Fizzy Worms listing

The brand's own Worms page never uses the word fizzy, so a Fizzy Worms listing elsewhere is either a seventh Aztec shape we cannot verify or a retailer's mislabel, and the Worms we sell have no crust.

One UK retailer in the ranking set lists an Aztec CBD Fizzy Worms at 900mg. We have checked the brand's site: its Worms page carries no mention of fizzy, its product code is simply Aztec CBD Gummies Worms, and the word fizzy appears only on the Bears, Bottles and Cherries. The brand's own range lists six shapes, three fizzy and three soft, and the Worms are one of the soft three.

So either Aztec has made a sour-coated worm it does not list, or the retailer has added the word to a product that does not carry it. We could not reach that listing to settle which. What matters for you is the pouch we sell: it is the plain Worms, with no sour sugar on it, and if a crust is what you want, the three fizzy shapes are the ones to buy.

Keeping worms, and the 1mg rule

With no crust to protect, the Worms are the easiest Aztec shape to store, and like every container on this site the pouch must hold under 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in total.

The sour-coated shapes need a dry cupboard and a tightly sealed pouch, because an acid-sugar crust pulls moisture out of the air. The Worms do not have that problem. A plain gum tolerates humidity better and can even go in the fridge if you prefer a firmer chew, since there is no coating for condensation to dissolve. Cold does dull the flavour, so let a chilled worm sit for a minute before eating. Heat is the one thing to avoid; a pouch left in a hot car will soften thirty worms into one.

On the law, the test is in the box above and the full argument is in our guide to whether CBD is legal in the UK. One retailer selling this range prints its THC figure as a percentage with the sign pointing the wrong way; a percentage is the Home Office rule for the growing crop and was never the consumer test. Our catalogue records this sweet as an isolate, which has the THC removed before it reaches the gum, so a pouch under 1mg is the expected outcome. The brand's category page says broad spectrum and one retailer says full spectrum; that contradiction is tabulated on the Dummies page and only a batch certificate settles it. Ingestible CBD also sits under the Novel Foods regime, and nothing here claims the product is authorised. 18+ only.

Who the Worms suit, and who should pick another shape

Right for someone who wants a soft 30mg gummy they can eat in portions; wrong for a beginner who wants a measured small amount, a vegan, or anyone who wanted a sour crust.

The pack size we sell is shown in the label strip beside the photo and in the basket box; it is set by how our distributor supplies the line, and each pouch inside it is the 150g, thirty-worm pouch described here.

On the vegan question: the brand's category page calls its range vegan, an independent reviewer reading a sibling Aztec pouch reports beef gelatine, and the only published ingredient list names no setting agent. Until that is resolved we do not call any Aztec gummy vegan, and the argument is on the Dummies page.

Good for

  • You want a soft, uncoated gummy you can bite into portions
  • You want a 30mg sweet with a tidy way of taking less than 30mg at once
  • You want the Aztec shape that stores most easily

Not for you if

  • You need a measured 10mg rather than roughly a third of a worm. A sweet made at 10mg is on our CBD gummies shelf
  • You are vegan or vegetarian. The claim is contradicted and unconfirmed
  • You wanted a sour crust. That is the Fizzy Bears, Fizzy Bottles or Fizzy Cherries, never the Worms
  • You avoid E102, E129 or sulphites. All three are in the range's published list

Questions people ask

Is there a fizzy version of Aztec CBD Worms?

Not on the brand's own site. Its Worms page never uses the word fizzy and the word appears only on the Bears, Bottles and Cherries. One retailer lists a Fizzy Worms; we could not verify it and do not stock it. The Worms we sell are the plain, uncoated shape.

How much CBD is in a third of an Aztec worm?

About 10mg, since the whole worm carries 30mg and is the same thickness along its length. It is roughly rather than exactly 10mg because the CBD is dispersed through the batch rather than metered into each portion. That figure happens to match the Food Standards Agency's advisory amount for a day.

Do you stock any other CBD gummy worms?

No. The Aztec Worms are the only worm-shaped CBD sweet in our catalogue. Orange County makes a worm in the wider market, but it is not a shape we carry, and Hempthy, Cannapower and MediCBD do not make one. If you want a worm, this is the pouch.

Which Aztec gummy is best if you want to take less than 30mg at a time?

The Worms, because they bite cleanly into halves or thirds with no crust to shatter, followed by the Fizzy Cherries, whose two domes pull apart. The Dummies, Dew Drops and Fizzy Bears are solid or small and divide badly. None of the shapes is made below 30mg, so for a measured smaller amount a different brand's sweet is the honest answer.

How long does a pouch of Aztec CBD Worms last?

Thirty worms, so thirty days at one a day, fifteen at the two a day the pouch recommends, and ninety days at a third of a worm a day. The pouch's two-a-day figure is six times the FSA's advisory amount; we report both numbers and do not recommend one.

Can Aztec CBD Worms go in the fridge?

Yes, and better than the fizzy shapes can. With no sour crust there is no coating for condensation to dissolve, so chilling simply firms the gum. Cold mutes the flavour, so let one sit for a minute before eating. Avoid heat: a warm pouch will fuse the worms together.

Is there a smaller pouch of Aztec CBD Worms?

No. Aztec makes its gummies in one size, a 900mg pouch of thirty 30mg sweets, across all six shapes. There is no lower strength and no smaller count. The worm's length is the only way to take less of this particular sweet.

Can I eat Aztec CBD Worms and then drive?

CBD itself is not a controlled drug and is not what the drug-driving limits test for; those limits concern THC and other controlled substances in the blood. A THC-free isolate sweet is the lowest-risk case, but no retailer can guarantee a reading without the batch certificate, and nothing here is legal advice. If it matters to you, ask us for the certificate first.
