Peach Rings are the gentlest per sweet at 40mg, and you get thirty of them. Mixed Fruit Bears and Mixed Fruit Cubes sit in the middle at 48mg across twenty five sweets. Cherries and Strawberries are the strongest per sweet at 60mg, in tubs of twenty.

So if you want to take smaller amounts at a time, the shape you pick does that work for you, and picking the wrong one means either eating half a sweet or taking half as much again as you meant to. The tub says the same number either way.

What 40 to 60mg in one sweet looks like next to FSA advice

Here is the thing nobody selling this product mentions, including the 2,800 words on the manufacturer's own website.

The Food Standards Agency advises that healthy adults keep their CBD intake from food supplements to no more than 10mg a day. That figure was revised down from 70mg and announced in October 2023, and it is precautionary consumer advice rather than a legal limit.

A single 60mg gummy from this tub is six times that figure. A 40mg Peach Ring is four times it. We are not telling you what to do with that information, and we are not going to pretend it is a dosage instruction in either direction. But you should be able to read it on the page you are buying from rather than finding it later, and at the moment you cannot read it anywhere in this product's search results.

It is also worth knowing that the advice applies to CBD taken as a food supplement, which is exactly what an edible is. It does not apply to CBD vapes or topicals, which sit outside that regime entirely.

Novel Foods, and what we will not claim

Ingestible CBD in the UK sits under the Novel Foods regime, administered by the Food Standards Agency. Gummies, oils, capsules and drinks are all covered by it. Products that have been through the process appear on the FSA's public list.

Not one page ranking for this product mentions any of that. The brand's own site runs twelve frequently asked questions about its gummies and Novel Foods is not among them.

We are going to be straight about the limit of what we can tell you. The regime applies to this product because it is an edible. We have not independently verified this specific line's position on the FSA public list, so we are not claiming it holds a validated authorisation. Anyone who tells you a CBD edible is fully approved without showing you the entry is asking you to take it on trust.

The distinction matters because it is the single most misunderstood thing in UK CBD retail, and because vapes and topicals genuinely are outside the regime, which lets people assume the whole category is.

What is actually in them

These are pectin set rather than gelatine set, which is what makes them vegan. Pectin comes from fruit, gives a slightly firmer and cleaner bite than gelatine, and releases flavour a little more sharply.

The published ingredients run to broad spectrum hemp derived CBD, glucose syrup, sugar, invert sugar, citric and malic acid, pectin, sorbitol, fruit juice concentrate, apple, trisodium citrate, natural flavouring, and colour from black carrot concentrate and spirulina. Colour comes from vegetables rather than synthetic dyes, which is worth knowing if that matters to you.

Broad spectrum means a wide set of hemp compounds with the THC removed during processing, as opposed to isolate, which is refined until only cannabidiol remains. In an edible the practical difference is a faint hemp note underneath the fruit, which the Cherries and Strawberries carry more noticeably than the Peach Rings do.

On halal and kosher, the brand states that its gummies qualify: halal on the basis that THC is undetectable, kosher on the basis that the ingredients are vegan. That is the brand's reasoning rather than a certification from a certifying body, and no body is named. If you need certification rather than reasoning, count it as unconfirmed.

One warning about reading the range, because it catches people out. A bigger number on the tub does not reliably mean stronger sweets. A CBD product sold to a UK consumer has to contain no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids, meaning THC, THCV and CBN, in the container. Per container, not per sweet, not per serving, and not as a percentage of anything. It comes from the exempt product provisions under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Credit where it is due: the manufacturer states this correctly on its own site, saying its gummies must contain no more than 1mg of THC per product. That is the best legal statement of any brand or retailer examined across this whole range of products, and it is unusual.

One retailer selling this exact tub does not manage it, publishing a THC figure of 0.2 per cent while also saying all traces of THC have been removed. Those two statements cannot both be doing work, and the percentage is the wrong test in any case. It is a cultivation rule capping THC in the standing hemp crop grown under a Home Office licence, and it says nothing about what may be sold to you. Applied to a tub of sweets it would permit a quantity of THC many times over the real limit.

Who should skip this tub

If you have not had CBD edibles before, start lower. At 40mg to 60mg a sweet this is not a tub to learn on, and the 100mg or 200mg versions exist precisely so you can find out what suits you without committing.

If you want to take small amounts through the day, this shape of product makes that awkward. Cutting a gummy in half is imprecise and unpleasant, and an oil with a dropper is the format built for adjusting amounts.

If you dislike any hemp note in food, broad spectrum carries one, faint but present, and it comes through more in the Cherries and Strawberries than in the Peach Rings. And if you need certified halal or kosher status rather than the brand's reasoning about it, regard this as unconfirmed until you see certification.
