Orange County CBD Oil 3000mg 30ml

The range is a grid, not a ladder

Line up the figures Orange County publishes and a pattern appears immediately. This bottle and the 1,000mg 10ml are both 10 per cent, both 5mg in a drop, both 100mg in a pipette. The 2,000mg 10ml and the 6,000mg 30ml are both 20 per cent, both 10mg in a drop, both 200mg in a pipette.

So the range is not a strength ladder running from weakest to strongest, which is how the milligram names make it look. It is a small set of concentrations offered in three bottle sizes, and the number on the front is just those two multiplied together.

Read it as a ladder and you will conclude that the 3,000mg is three times the 1,000mg. Read it as a grid and you can see that they are the same oil, and that one bottle simply lasts three times longer than the other.

The practical rule that falls out of this is short. Pick the concentration that gives you a sensible amount in a drop. Then pick the volume that suits how often you use it. The milligram figure on the label answers neither question on its own.

The pipette is one millilitre, on every bottle

There is a second piece of arithmetic hiding in the brand's figures, and it makes comparing any two Orange County oils trivial.

Every bottle whose figures the brand publishes gives twenty drops to a full pipette, and every one works out at a pipette holding exactly one millilitre. This bottle: 100mg in a pipette on a 10 per cent oil. The 25 per cent oil: 250mg. The 12 per cent: 120mg. In each case the pipette holds a millilitre of whatever is in the bottle.

That gives you a rule you can apply without looking anything up. The milligrams in a full pipette are the same as the milligrams in a millilitre, and a drop is a twentieth of that.

It also means a pipette is a genuinely comparable unit across the range, which drops alone are not, because a drop from a strong oil and a drop from a weak one look identical and are not.

Ours is the unflavoured one

This needs saying because a flavoured version of this exact specification exists.

Orange County produces an orange-flavoured oil at the same 3,000mg in the same 30ml bottle, sold through at least one major marketplace. Ours is the natural one, meaning no flavouring at all.

Most listings for either version do not make the distinction clearly, so it is entirely possible to search this specification, compare two results, and not realise that the only difference between them is whether it tastes of orange.

Natural here means what it says. The taste is hemp extract in MCT oil, which at 10 per cent is moderately assertive: earthy and a little bitter, with a grassy note that fades after a few seconds. It is milder than the 20 and 25 per cent bottles and noticeably stronger than the weakest ones.

About the half a dropper instruction

Some shops selling this oil print an instruction to squeeze out half a dropper under the tongue, hold for sixty to ninety seconds, and swallow. Two things about that are worth knowing.

The absorption time contradicts the brand's own guidance, which says thirty to sixty seconds across the range. Not a serious difference, but it shows the instruction did not come from the manufacturer.

The amount is the part that matters. Half a pipette of this bottle is 50mg. The Food Standards Agency advises healthy adults not to exceed 10mg of CBD a day from food supplements, a figure revised down in 2023, so that instruction is five times the official advice presented as a default rather than as a choice.

We are not going to tell anyone what to take. What we will do is give you the arithmetic so the decision is yours: a drop is 5mg, a pipette is 100mg, and the official advisory figure is 10mg a day. Where you land between those is not something a product page should be deciding for you.

Full spectrum, and a claim that gets worse with bottle size

The extract is full spectrum, which means it retains the plant's other compounds rather than having them removed, and that includes THC by design. So no THC figure appears on this page and we make no claim about whether this bottle sits inside the UK limit. We hold no per-batch certificate for the stock we would ship. The brand publishes lab reports on its own site.

The UK test is 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in total per container, counted as an absolute quantity rather than as a percentage of anything. That distinction is why the percentage figure circulating across the trade cannot be a compliance test.

This bottle makes the point neatly, because we have now written up the same claim on three container sizes from one brand. Applied to a 10ml bottle it would permit roughly twenty times what the law allows. On this 30ml, roughly sixty times. On the 100ml bottles, roughly two hundred times. Same sentence, same brand, getting steadily further from the law as the bottle grows.

How long it lasts, and where to find it

At 5mg a drop, a 30ml bottle holds roughly six hundred drops, or thirty full pipette draws. At the official advisory figure of 10mg a day that is around three hundred days. At 50mg a day it is about sixty.

Our distributors hold this line at the time of writing. The brand's own shop shows it as back-ordered with a lead time of a week and a half or more.

That makes five consecutive Orange County oils in the same position. At this point it is plainly a supply position across the range rather than a coincidence on individual lines, and it is worth knowing that trade stock and brand stock are separate pools.

Who should not buy this

Anyone who wants to try the strength before committing to a bottle this size. The 1,000mg 10ml is exactly the same oil in a smaller container, which makes it the obvious way to find out whether 10 per cent suits you.

Anyone who wants flavour. This is the natural version and it tastes of hemp. The orange-flavoured version of the same specification exists elsewhere, and gummies and capsules avoid the question entirely.

Anyone who wants a nil-THC position. This is full spectrum by design, no certificate is in our hands, and nobody publishes an honest figure.

And anyone choosing between this and the 6,000mg 30ml on the basis that one is twice the other. It is twice the concentration in the same size bottle, so each drop does twice as much and the bottle lasts exactly as long. That is a different decision from the one the labels suggest.
