Replacement pods for the Orange County CBD kit
This is a rechargeable device, so when the CBD runs out you replace the pod rather than the whole kit. These are the Orange County CBD refills that fit it.
The Orange County CBD/CBG 2000mg (10%) 6000 Puff Vape Device is a rechargeable CBD vape supplied with an 8ml prefilled pod rated at up to 6,000 puffs. Two things need saying immediately. It is not a disposable, despite carrying the puff count everyone associates with one, and the 2,000mg on the label is not 2,000mg of CBD. Orange County publishes the split itself: 1,000mg of CBD and 1,000mg of CBG. Neither point is made by any page currently selling this device, and the first one is now a matter of law rather than preference.
Six thousand puffs, and why this is not a disposable
Single use vapes have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025 under the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) Regulations 2024, and that ban covers CBD disposables as squarely as it covers nicotine ones. So a product advertising 6,000 puffs deserves a straight answer about what it actually is.
This one recharges and refills. The battery takes a USB-C cable, so it comes back to life rather than running down for the last time. The pod clicks out when it is finished and a replacement clicks in. Neither of those things is true of a disposable, and both are what put this device on the right side of the regulations.
The reason the puff count looks familiar is that the format is deliberately replacing what people used to buy. Six thousand puffs from one pod is roughly what a large disposable used to deliver, so the experience is close while the device itself is not thrown away. That is the entire design brief, and it is a little strange that no page selling it says so.
If you are coming to CBD after using disposables, this is the closest thing on our shelves to the habit you already had, and it is a legal purchase where the old format is not.
| This device | A single-use disposable | |
|---|---|---|
| Battery | Rechargeable over USB-C | Sealed, discarded when flat |
| Pod | Clicks out, replacement clicks in | Not replaceable |
| When the liquid runs out | Fit a new pod | The whole unit is binned |
| Puffs per pod | Around 6,000 | Varies, often similar |
| Legal to sell in the UK | Yes | No, banned since 1 June 2025 |
The 2000mg is half CBG, and the brand says so
Orange County's own product page states it plainly: CBD 1,000mg, CBG 1,000mg. An even split of the advertised figure between two different cannabinoids.
That matters when you compare products. Set against a pod carrying 2,000mg of CBD alone, this device holds half as much cannabidiol for the same headline number. Whether that is a drawback depends entirely on whether you want CBG in the mix, which is a real preference rather than a marketing distinction.
The retailer with the most detailed page on this device describes it only as broad spectrum CBD with a CBG blend and states that no split percentage is specified. The manufacturer specifies it. Anyone comparing this against a CBD-only device on the 2,000mg figure alone is comparing the wrong things.
For what it is worth, CBG is cannabigerol, a cannabinoid found in hemp alongside CBD. It is not THC, it is not intoxicating and it is not synthetic. It appears less often simply because most of it has converted into other cannabinoids by the time a hemp plant matures.
| Measure | Figure |
|---|---|
| Advertised strength | 2,000mg |
| CBD, per the manufacturer | 1,000mg |
| CBG, per the manufacturer | 1,000mg |
| Pod capacity | 8ml |
| Combined cannabinoids per millilitre | About 250mg |
| CBD alone per millilitre | About 125mg |
| THC | None, and CBG is not a controlled cannabinoid |
What arrives, and what the specification means
The box holds the device, one 8ml prefilled pod and a user manual. That is the full contents as published by the retailer that lists them; the brand's own page does not say.
The coil is a mesh coil built into the pod, which means replacing the pod replaces the coil at the same time and there is nothing separate to buy or fit. Mesh heats more evenly than older wire coils and tends to hold flavour more consistently across the life of a pod.
Charging is over USB-C, so any cable you already own for a phone or laptop will do the job. Neither the brand nor the retailers publish a battery capacity figure, which is a gap we would rather flag than fill with a guess.
One point of legal trivia that is genuinely useful. You may know that vape tanks in the UK are capped at 2ml. That cap applies to tanks containing nicotine e-liquid under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations. This pod holds 8ml of a nicotine-free CBD liquid, so the limit does not reach it, which is why CBD pods can be this large when nicotine pods cannot.

Five flavours, all available
The range runs to five, all fruit led and all currently in stock. Orange County publishes one flavour per product page on its own site, so no page anywhere presents the full set, which is a small thing that makes comparison harder than it needs to be.
Grape Burst is the darkest and sweetest. Miami Blueberry sits alongside it but lighter. Kiwi and Strawberries is the most balanced of the fruit blends, and Kiwi Guava Passion Fruit is the most tropical and the busiest. Pink Lemonade is the sharpest and the only one with real citrus in it.
There is no menthol or ice option in this range, which is worth knowing if a cooling finish is what you usually reach for.
| Flavour | What to expect | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Grape Burst | Dark grape, the sweetest of the five | In stock |
| Kiwi & Strawberries | Balanced red fruit with a tart edge | In stock |
| Kiwi Guava Passion Fruit | The most tropical and the busiest blend | In stock |
| Miami Blueberry | Blueberry, lighter than the grape | In stock |
| Pink Lemonade | Sharp citrus, the only genuinely tart option | In stock |
How it compares with our other CBD and CBG devices
No brand compares itself against rivals and no retailer ranking for this device attempts it. We stock three CBD and CBG pod systems, and they are meaningfully different from one another.
This Orange County device sits in the middle on concentration at around 250mg per millilitre combined, in the largest pod of the three at 8ml. The Hûrb Breeze holds a bigger 10ml pod at a much lower 100mg per millilitre, so it is the gentler draw and the longer pod. Darwin's CBD and CBG kit runs a higher total in a smaller format.
For contrast, our CBD-only distillate pod from the same brand carries 750mg in a single millilitre, which is three times this device's concentration in an eighth of the capacity. Those two products answer completely different questions despite sitting in the same aisle.
| Device | Cannabinoids | Pod | Per millilitre | Puffs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Orange County CBD/CBG 2000mg | 1,000mg CBD and 1,000mg CBG | 8ml | About 250mg | Around 6,000 |
| Hûrb Breeze CBD+CBG 1000mg | About 500mg of each | 10ml | About 100mg | Around 3,000 |
| Darwin CBD+CBG 1800mg Pod Kit | 1,800mg combined | Not published | Not published | Not published |
| Orange County Distillate Pod 750mg | 750mg CBD only | 1ml | About 750mg | Around 1,000 |
Buying the pod on its own, and what happens to the old one
When the pod is finished you want the matching Orange County CBD/CBG replacement pod rather than a second device. It carries the same 8ml and the same cannabinoid split, and it fits this device only. Pods are not interchangeable between brands, so nothing from Hûrb, Darwin or Aztec will seat in it.
The spent pod is not ordinary rubbish. Pods contain a coil and electrical contacts, which makes them Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment under UK rules, so they belong at a vape or small electricals recycling point, a household waste recycling centre, or a retailer take-back scheme rather than in a bin. Retailers carry a legal duty to accept very small electrical waste.
The same applies to the device itself at the end of its life, with the added point that it holds a lithium battery. Batteries in general waste are a genuine fire risk in collection lorries.
Where this sits under UK law
Two separate rules apply and they are easy to run together. The first is the single-use ban already covered above, which this device satisfies by being rechargeable with replaceable pods.
The second is the cannabinoid limit. A CBD product sold to a UK consumer must hold no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in total, counting THC, THCV and CBN, per container. Per container, not as a percentage. It comes from the exempt product provisions under the Misuse of Drugs Act. CBG is not on that list, so the 1,000mg of cannabigerol in this pod has no bearing on the test at all.
Neither page selling this device states either rule. The brand states only that the product is THC free and nicotine free, which is reassuring but is not a legal position. One retailer goes further in the wrong direction and describes what CBD will do for you, which is a claim no shop is permitted to make about a product like this. We make no such claims anywhere on this site.
CBD vapes also sit outside the FSA Novel Foods regime, which covers ingestible CBD such as oils, gummies and drinks, so daily intake advice written for food supplements does not apply to anything inhaled. Everything on this site is 18+ only.
Who should skip this one
If you want the most CBD you can get, half the advertised milligrams here are CBG, and a CBD-only pod at the same headline figure carries twice the cannabidiol.
If you want something pocketable to carry as a spare, an 8ml pod device is bulky next to a 1ml distillate pod, and it is designed to be the one device you use rather than one of several.
If you want a cooling or menthol flavour, this range does not have one. And if you were hoping for a true disposable, that format is illegal to sell in the UK and has been since June 2025, so a rechargeable device is not a compromise here, it is the only lawful option.
Frequently asked questions
- Is the Orange County 6000 puff CBD vape a disposable?
- No. It recharges over USB-C and the pod clicks out and is replaced when it runs out, so nothing is thrown away when the liquid is gone. Single-use vapes, CBD disposables included, have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025, and this format is what replaced them.
- How does the 2000mg split between CBD and CBG?
- Evenly. Orange County publishes 1,000mg of CBD and 1,000mg of CBG on its own product page. That means the device holds half as much cannabidiol as a 2,000mg CBD-only product, which matters if you are comparing headline figures across brands.
- How concentrated is the 8ml pod in this device?
- About 250mg of combined cannabinoids per millilitre, so roughly 125mg of CBD and 125mg of CBG in each one. That puts it between the Hûrb Breeze at around 100mg per millilitre and a CBD distillate pod at around 750mg.
- What comes in the box with the Orange County CBD/CBG kit?
- The device, one 8ml prefilled pod and a user manual, per the retailer specification we could verify. The brand's own page does not publish box contents. No battery capacity figure is published by anyone, so we are not going to quote one.
- Do I need to refill the pod myself?
- No, the pods come prefilled and are not designed to be topped up. When one is finished you fit a replacement, which brings a fresh mesh coil with it since the coil is built into the pod. There is nothing separate to buy or fit.
- Why is an 8ml CBD pod allowed when vape tanks are limited to 2ml?
- Because the 2ml cap applies to tanks containing nicotine e-liquid, under the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations. This pod holds a nicotine-free CBD liquid, so the limit does not reach it. It is the same reason CBD e-liquid is sold in 50ml bottles when nicotine liquid is capped at 10ml.
- Does the Orange County CBD/CBG range have a menthol flavour?
- No. All five are fruit led: Grape Burst, Kiwi and Strawberries, Kiwi Guava Passion Fruit, Miami Blueberry and Pink Lemonade. Pink Lemonade is the sharpest of them and the closest thing to a palate cleanser, but there is no cooling or ice option in the range.
- Does the CBG content change the legal position of this device?
- No. The UK limit counts controlled cannabinoids, meaning THC, THCV and CBN, and caps them at 1mg in total per container. CBG is not one of them, so a product containing 1,000mg of it is assessed on exactly the same basis as a CBD-only product.
