The Orange County CBD Distillate Refill Pod 750mg 1ml is a replacement pod, not a kit: a single 1ml pod carrying 750mg of broad spectrum CBD distillate at roughly 75 per cent CBD, for a device you already own. If you do not have the device yet, our pod system page is the listing you need instead. A refill buyer really has two questions, and the market answers neither of them well. The first is what this fits, which the closest competing listing does not say at all. The second is what to do with the pod once it is empty, which nothing in CBD vaping seems willing to talk about.
What this fits, and how to be sure before ordering
This pod is made for the Orange County distillate pod device, which is the same device sold in our pod system listing. Retailer copy across the market states the same compatibility, and it is the only sentence that really matters on a page like this.
It is worth stating the general rule too, because it catches people constantly. CBD pods are not interchangeable between brands. Each system uses its own pod fitting, so a Darwin pod does not go in an Aztec device, an Aztec pod does not go in this one, and so on across every brand we stock. A pod that looks similar is not the same pod.
The check before you order is straightforward. Look at the brand printed on the device you already own, not the shape of the pod, and match the refill to that brand and that range. If your device came from an Orange County distillate kit, this is the correct refill for it.
One thing we will flag rather than gloss over: the closest competing listing for this exact pod sells it as a replacement without naming a single device it is compatible with. If you are comparing shops and a refill listing does not tell you what it fits, that is a reason to be careful rather than a detail to overlook.

When a pod is finished, and how to tell
A pod is rated at around a thousand puffs, but nobody counts, and the number is not how you should judge it. There are three signals worth knowing, and no page in this product's ranking set names any of them.
The first is flavour dropping away. A pod that tasted clearly of Zkittlez on day one going flat is usually the coil ageing rather than the distillate running out. The second is vapour thinning while the draw stays the same. The third, and the one people notice most, is a dry or burnt taste, which means the coil is running hotter than the liquid reaching it can cope with.
Priming is what prevents that last one at the start of a pod's life, and it is the step almost nobody explains. When you fit a fresh pod, let it stand upright for a minute or two before the first draw so the distillate soaks into the wick, then take two or three gentle pulls without the device firing if it allows that. At roughly 75 per cent CBD the liquid is thick and slow to travel, so a hard first draw on a dry wick is the quickest way to ruin a new pod.
The same logic applies all the way through. Slow, gentle mouth to lung draws with a moment between them let the wick keep up. Chain pulling a distillate pod produces a burnt taste rather than more vapour.
Every flavour available as a refill
Ten flavours, split between cannabis strain names and desserts, with the flavour coming from natural terpenes blended into the distillate rather than from flavourings alone. No page in the ranking set publishes which are actually available.
Only Strawberry Kush is unavailable as a refill at the moment. That is worth comparing against our pod system listing, where Girl Scout Cookies is also out of stock, so this page is currently the only route to that flavour if you own the device.
On character: Lemonade and Zkittlez are the brightest, Wedding Cake and Blueberry Muffin the richest, and Alien OG the most herbal. If you have been running one flavour for a while, the strain named ones taste noticeably greener when you switch back to them from a dessert pod.
| Flavour | What to expect | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Alien OG | Earthy and herbal, the least sweet of the ten | In stock |
| Blueberry Muffin | Baked blueberry and sponge, one of the sweetest | In stock |
| Gelato | Creamy dessert with a soft berry edge | In stock |
| Girl Scout Cookies | Biscuity and sweet with a herbal undertone | In stock as a refill only |
| Lemonade | Sharp citrus, the cleanest inhale here | In stock |
| Mango Haze | Ripe mango over a hazy herbal base | In stock |
| Pineapple Express | Sweet tropical pineapple, bright and forward | In stock |
| Strawberry Kush | Ripe strawberry against an earthy kush base | Out of stock |
| Wedding Cake | Vanilla sponge and icing, the richest option | In stock |
| Zkittlez | Fruit sweets, tropical with a berry finish | In stock |
What to do with the pod when it is empty
This is a replacement product, so every one you buy leaves you holding a spent pod. Not one CBD page we examined for this product, or for the kit it fits, says a word about that. It is a strange omission in a category that reorganised itself entirely around a piece of waste legislation.
Here is the position. Vapes and vape pods are Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment under UK rules, because a pod contains a coil and electrical contacts. That means a spent pod does not belong in household waste, and it does not belong in your ordinary kerbside recycling either, where mixed plastics, metal and liquid residue cannot be separated.
The right routes are a dedicated vape or small electricals recycling point, or a retailer take-back scheme. Many household waste recycling centres take small electricals and batteries, and some supermarkets and roadside banks have electrical bins. Retailers also carry a legal duty to take back very small electrical waste, so a vape shop is usually a practical drop-off. Your council's website will list the nearest point.
Two practical notes. Do not try to prise a pod open to empty it, because the coil and contacts are what make it electrical waste in the first place and there is nothing useful to recover. And do not put a pod in with loose batteries in a household bin, which is how bin lorry fires start.
How it compares with the other refill pods we stock
A brand cannot compare itself against rivals and none of the retailers ranking for this pod attempts it. We stock refill pods from several brands, all of which fit only their own devices.
Orange County's refill is the most concentrated single pod we carry at roughly 75 per cent in 1ml. Aztec's is the largest by total CBD, at 4,000mg across two 2ml pods. Darwin's is the gentlest and the sensible refill for someone still working out what suits them. Hurb and Professor Herb bring a different cannabinoid mix rather than more CBD, and Professor Herb's is an H4CBD pod, which is a different compound entirely rather than a stronger CBD.
| Refill pod | CBD in the pack | Capacity | Cannabinoids | Fits |

Where a replaceable pod sits under UK law
Refillable and pod based devices are the format that replaced disposables. Single use vapes, CBD disposables included, have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025 under the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) Regulations 2024, and a device taking replaceable pods is squarely on the right side of that.
Worth a note on how the market talks about it. One retailer ranking for this product sells a rechargeable Orange County kit from a web address that describes it as a disposable vape. The page itself is accurate and the product is genuinely rechargeable, so nothing improper is being sold, but the wording travels into search results and muddies a distinction that now matters legally. If a listing calls a CBD vape disposable, check what the page actually says.
On cannabinoid content, the test is that the container holds no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in total, counting THC, THCV and CBN. Per container, so each pod is assessed as its own container rather than the limit being spread across a multipack. It comes from the exempt product provisions under the Misuse of Drugs Act, not from the FSA, whose CBD remit is Novel Foods and does not extend to anything inhaled. Broad spectrum distillate has the THC removed during processing. Everything on this site is 18+ only.
Who should skip this one
If you do not already own the Orange County distillate device, this pod will not do anything for you on its own. The pod system listing is the one to start with.
If your device is from another brand, this will not fit it, no matter how similar the pod looks. Match the refill to the brand printed on your device.
If you have never vaped CBD, roughly 75 per cent is a steep starting point and a refill pod assumes hardware you do not have. And if you have nowhere convenient to drop off small electrical waste, be honest with yourself about that before committing to a format that produces a spent pod every time, because a bin is not the answer.
Frequently asked questions
- Which device do Orange County distillate refill pods fit?
- The Orange County distillate pod device, which is the one supplied in the matching pod system listing. Retailer copy across the market states the same compatibility. If you are shopping around, note that the nearest competing listing for this pod names no compatible device at all.
- How do I know when a CBD pod needs replacing?
- Three signals. Flavour going flat, vapour thinning while your draw stays the same, and a dry or burnt taste. The burnt note is the clearest one and means the coil is running hotter than the distillate reaching it can handle. Pods are rated at around a thousand puffs but the taste tells you first.
- What does priming a CBD pod coil mean?
- Letting the distillate soak into the wick before you draw on it. Stand a fresh pod upright for a minute or two, then take two or three gentle pulls without firing if your device allows it. At roughly 75 per cent CBD the liquid is thick and slow to travel, so a hard first draw on a dry wick can spoil a new pod immediately.
- Why does my Orange County CBD pod taste burnt?
- Usually the wick is not keeping up with the coil. That happens when a new pod has not been primed, when the pod is cold and the distillate has thickened, or when a pod is near the end of its life. Slow down the draws and give the pod a moment between them. If the taste persists on a well used pod, it is finished.
- Is Girl Scout Cookies available as an Orange County refill pod?
- Yes, and at the moment this is the only way to get it. Girl Scout Cookies is in stock as a refill pod while being out of stock in the pod system listing, so if you already own the device you can still have that flavour. Only Strawberry Kush is currently unavailable as a refill.
- How should I store a spare CBD distillate pod?
- Upright, at room temperature, out of direct sunlight and away from cold. Storing a pod flat lets thick distillate settle away from the coil, and cold makes it stiffen or crystallise, so a pod kept in a car overnight will need warming in your hand before it draws properly.
- How should I dispose of a used CBD vape pod in the UK?
- As electrical waste, never in household rubbish or kerbside recycling. Pods contain a coil and electrical contacts, which makes them Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment. Use a vape or small electricals recycling point, a household waste recycling centre, or a retailer take-back scheme, since retailers carry a legal duty to accept very small electrical waste.
- Does each CBD pod need its own lab report?
- Testing is done by batch rather than by individual pod, so one certificate of analysis covers the batch a pod came from. What matters legally is that each pod, as its own container, holds no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in total. The limit is per container and is not spread across a multipack.
