This is the plain CBD refill line rather than the CBG one. Each pod is a sealed 2ml cartridge holding 300mg of CBD isolate, which is 15 per cent by weight and about 150mg in every millilitre. That is the identical specification to the pod supplied inside the 300mg starter kit, so this twin pack is a straight restock rather than a step in either direction.

If you want to step up, the CBG twin pack is the other option and runs at roughly 225mg per millilitre with a second cannabinoid added. If you want to stay exactly where you are, this is the pack.

Everything is prefilled and sealed. There is no bottle, no measuring and nothing to refill by hand, and the mesh coil is built into the pod rather than being a separate part you replace.

Half a milligram a puff, and this time the number holds up

Darwin prints a per-puff figure on the packaging for this line and one retailer repeats it: one puff is equivalent to 0.5mg of CBD. Unusually, it checks out exactly. Three hundred milligrams in a pod rated at 600 puffs is 0.5mg a puff, with nothing rounded and nothing hidden.

That is worth pointing out because per-puff claims across CBD vaping are usually either absent or unverifiable. On Darwin's own CBG pods, 450mg across the same 600-puff rating works out at roughly 0.75mg, half again as much, and no listing anywhere states it. This is the one product in the range where the brand's own arithmetic can be checked and comes out clean.

Two caveats before you plan anything around it. The 600-puff rating assumes short draws of a second or two, so a longer inhale style takes more liquid per puff and delivers fewer of them from the same pod. And a puff figure is a measure of what leaves the pod, not of what your body does with it. There is no authorised intake figure for inhaled CBD, and anyone quoting one has borrowed it from food supplement advice where it does not belong.

Eleven flavours, not twelve, whatever the deepest page on this search result says before listing eleven of them. Four are built around a cooling agent and the rest split between sweet-shop and fruit.

Four are also out of stock as this page was written, and two of those are menthol mixes, which thins out the cooled end of the range considerably. Nobody else publishes this. Every competing listing shows the full dropdown and lets you find out at the basket.

We leave unavailable options visible rather than hiding them, so you can see what is coming back rather than assuming it was discontinued. If a menthol mix is what you want and yours is out, Cool Mint and Dark Berries are the two currently available cooled options.

What these fit, and how they sit against other refills

Compatibility is settled rather than hedged. Four independent sources, including Darwin's own product page, state that this twin pack fits both the Darwin CBD 300mg pod system and the Darwin CBD+CBG 1800mg pod kit. If you own either device, this is a correct refill for it.

They fit nothing else. Pod systems are closed by design, so an Aztec, Orange County or Hurb battery will not take a Darwin pod and a Darwin battery will not take theirs.

Against the other refill packs we stock, this is the mildest of the Darwin options and the only one that keeps a menthol range. The CBG pack is stronger and has no mint at all. Aztec's refills are a different class again, filled with distillate rather than liquid, and considerably more concentrated.

Isolate, and a correction the page above this one needs

These pods are CBD isolate, meaning the extract is refined until only cannabidiol remains and the other hemp compounds are removed during processing. No THC, no CBN, no terpenes carried over. It is also the reason the flavours taste like flavours rather than like flavours plus hemp.

The most useful competing page on this search result explains the difference between isolate, broad spectrum and full spectrum, which is more than anyone else attempts, and then says full spectrum contains THC at under 0.2 per cent as though that were the rule that keeps it legal. It is not.

The consumer rule in the UK is that a product must hold no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids, meaning THC, THCV and CBN, in the container. A fixed quantity, not a percentage, and it does not scale with the size of the product. The percentage figure comes from Home Office hemp cultivation rules, which cap what a licensed grower's standing crop may contain in the field. It has nothing to do with what may be sold to you, and repeating it as a retail test is how a genuinely helpful page ends up teaching the wrong thing.

For an isolate pod the question is academic, since the controlled cannabinoids are refined out. It matters enormously for anything full spectrum, which retains THC deliberately.

Two further points. Vapes sit outside the FSA Novel Foods regime, which covers ingestible CBD such as oils, capsules and gummies, so no Novel Foods authorisation applies to a pod. And single-use vapes, CBD disposables included, have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025 under the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) Regulations 2024. Who should buy something else

If you have been running these for a while and want more from the same device, the CBG twin pack fits the same batteries and steps up to about 225mg a millilitre. Going the other way is not possible, so if you find that too strong you are back here.

If you want a cooled vape and your flavour is one of the four currently unavailable, wait rather than substituting. Cool Mint and a berry menthol are not close relatives. And if you would rather not be tied to prefilled pods at all, a bottled liquid in a refillable device gives you far more flavour choice, with the trade-off that you have to fill it yourself.
