Multitrance Cannabis Incense Sticks in the Dry Cannabis range are hand-rolled fragrance sticks that layer a sweet scent over an earthy dry-leaf cannabis note, and this listing holds the four sweet-shop scents of the range: Bubblegum, Chocolate, Mango and Strawberry, sold as six packs of fifteen sticks in whichever scent you pick. Nothing in the stick is cannabis, CBD or THC; cannabis here is a fragrance, the way sandalwood is. What makes this listing different from the eight other Multitrance incense pages on our shelf is that three of its four scents are the last of their kind: our distributor has marked Bubblegum, Chocolate and Mango as discontinued, and the maker's own Multitrance-branded incense category no longer lists Bubblegum, Mango or Strawberry at all, having moved those scents to its HaZe label. This page describes each of the four, says which one to pick for which room, and sets out the one fact no seller can agree on, which is where the sticks are made.
Four sweet scents, and three of them are the end of a line
Bubblegum, Chocolate and Mango are tagged discontinued by our distributor and no longer appear in the maker's own Multitrance-branded incense range, so what is on this listing is what remains, while Strawberry is still a current line.
We would rather tell you this at the top than have you find out when a scent disappears. Our distributor's feed carries a discontinued tag on the Bubblegum, Chocolate and Mango lines in this listing; our site strips that tag from the name so the product does not get renamed mid-life, but the fact stands. The maker's own website tells the same story from the other end. Its Multitrance-branded Cannabis Incense Sticks category currently lists Blueberry, Chocolate, Cookies, Dry Leaves, Fresh Leaves and Nag Champa, and the sweet scents that are missing from that list, Bubblegum, Mango and Strawberry, now live under its HaZe Holland label as Bubblegum XL, Mango Kush and Strawberry Haze.
So three of the four scents here are end-of-line stock of the Multitrance-branded version, and when they are gone the HaZe equivalent is the replacement. We stock the HaZe cannabis incense six-pack with Bubblegum XL, Chocolate Kush and Mango Kush among its scents, and that page explains how the HaZe line differs in construction and origin. Strawberry has no HaZe version on our shelf yet.
Everything else about the sticks is the range standard that the other Multitrance incense pages on this site have already covered: fifteen sticks to a pack, a burn of thirty to forty-five minutes each, a bamboo core coated in scented paste, and a six-pack that is six boxes of a single scent rather than a mixed selection. Pick the scent in the box below and the basket switches to it.

What each of the four smells like against the dry-leaf base
All four sit a sweet accord on top of the same earthy, hay-like dry cannabis note, and they differ in how loud the sweetness is: Bubblegum is the loudest, Strawberry the softest, Chocolate the warmest and Mango the brightest.
The base is the same stick as the plain Dry Cannabis Leaves incense: a dry, herbal, slightly hay-like green note with a resinous edge once it is burning, which is what a cannabis-scented incense means in practice. Each of the four scents here adds a confectionery accord over it. None contains the thing it is named after; there is no fruit, no cocoa and no sugar in an incense stick, and our Blueberry page explains why fruit is the hardest note of all to put in one. What follows is how each reads in a room, described from the accords these scents are built on rather than from the maker's copy, which says only that each is a fragrance twist.
Bubblegum is the loudest of the four. It is the pink, slightly powdery, fruit-and-vanilla sweetness of the sweet itself, and it sits on top of the green base rather than blending with it, so you get sweet shop first and cannabis second. Chocolate is the warmest and the one that blends best: a cocoa and vanilla accord has a dry, roasted edge that meets the earthy base halfway, so the room reads as warm and smoky rather than sweet. Mango is the brightest, a sharp tropical top note that lifts the green base and reads as the freshest of the four while it burns. Strawberry is the softest, a jammy red-fruit sweetness that fades quickest into the base; it is the one to choose if you want the cannabis note to lead.
One retailer's description of the Bubblegum stick describes dry cannabis leaves with a fresh strawberry scent, which is a template error carried over from the Strawberry listing. The four are distinct scents, and the descriptions above are our reading of the accords, not any seller's.
| Bubblegum | Pink, powdery, fruit and vanilla; sweet shop first | Loudest | Discontinued, while stock lasts | Bubblegum XL, in our HaZe listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Chocolate | Cocoa and vanilla with a roasted edge; blends with the base | Warm | Discontinued, while stock lasts | Chocolate Kush, in our HaZe listing |
| Mango | Sharp tropical top note; lifts the base | Bright | Discontinued, while stock lasts | Mango Kush, in our HaZe listing |
| Strawberry | Jammy red fruit; fades into the base soonest | Softest | Current line | Strawberry Haze, not stocked |
Made in India, or made in the EU? Three sources, two answers
The maker and our distributor say these Multitrance-branded sticks are handcrafted in India, one European retailer says they are handcrafted in the EU, and the maker's HaZe line is documented as EU-made, so the honest position is that the origin of this line is stated two ways and we have not resolved it.
This is a small thing that no page selling the sticks addresses, and it matters because the two origins mean two different products. Hand-rolled Indian incense is the masala style, a thicker paste on a bamboo core with a denser, smokier burn. European machine-made incense is thinner, more consistent and cleaner burning. Our HaZe incense page goes through that difference properly, because the HaZe line is documented as produced in the European Union.
For the Multitrance-branded line on this page, our distributor's copy says fifteen handcrafted sticks made in India using traditional methods, and the maker's own product page for the Chocolate scent says made in India. A Maltese retailer selling the Bubblegum stick says handcrafted in the European Union according to traditional customs. Two of three sources say India, so India is the better-supported answer, and it fits the hand-rolled description. But we have not had the box in front of us to read the origin line, and the one retailer that disagrees may simply have copied the HaZe wording. We will correct this section the day we have read a box.
| Source | Origin stated | Wording |
|---|---|---|
| Our distributor's listing | India | Handcrafted sticks made in India using traditional methods |
| The maker's own Chocolate page | India | Made in India |
| A Maltese retailer's Bubblegum page | European Union | Handcrafted in the European Union according to traditional customs |
| The maker's HaZe line, for contrast | European Union | Documented on our HaZe page |
Which sweet scent for which room
Sweet incense cloys faster than woody or plant scents, so the louder the scent the larger and better ventilated the room should be, which puts Bubblegum in the biggest room and Strawberry in the smallest.
A dry cannabis base on its own is a forgiving scent; it is green and quiet and suits a small room. Add sugar and it stops being forgiving. A sweet accord burning for forty minutes in a closed bedroom will be the only thing you can smell by the end, and the pink bubblegum note in particular is one that people either love or want out of the house. The sensible rule is to match loudness to space: Bubblegum and Mango in a living room with a window open, Chocolate in a hallway or a larger kitchen where its warmth has room to spread, Strawberry wherever the space is small and you want the green note to stay in charge.
Burn one stick, not two. Fifteen sticks a pack and ninety a six-pack is a lot of incense, and the temptation with a scent you like is to light a second; with a sweet stick that doubles the sugar, not the pleasure. Our Cookies page covers how to burn a stick without making a mess of it, and the coconut page covers storing the rest so they do not lose their scent.
Good for
- You already like one of these four scents and want six boxes of it before the line goes
- You want a sweet incense that still smells recognisably of the cannabis base: pick Strawberry or Chocolate
- You want the loudest, most obviously sweet-shop stick in the range: pick Bubblegum
Not for you if
- You want to mix scents. A six-pack is six boxes of one scent; for variety buy singles of the Cookies, Blueberry or Nag Champa listings as well
- You want a scent that will still be available next year. Three of the four are end-of-line; the HaZe versions are the long-term lines
- You want the plant scent on its own. That is the Dry Cannabis Leaves stick
- You were looking for CBD. There is none in any incense stick
No cannabis, no CBD, no THC, and what the law has to say
An incense stick is scented wood paste on a bamboo core and contains no cannabinoid of any kind, so the UK 1mg controlled-cannabinoid test has nothing to measure and the product is a room fragrance sold to adults.
We say this on every incense page because the mislabel is everywhere, including in our own generated catalogue line, which calls these a CBD accessory. They are not. Several retailers list the range as CBD incense, and one European wholesaler adds a without-THC note to its listing, which is true in the way that a candle is without THC. Our Blueberry page tracks how far that mislabel has spread. Nor is this the herbal incense that was banned under the Psychoactive Substances Act, which was a smoking product carrying synthetic cannabinoids; our HaZe page explains the distinction. These are lit, placed in a holder, and left to burn in a ventilated room, and that is the whole of their use.
Questions people ask
What does the Bubblegum cannabis incense smell like?
The pink, powdery, fruit-and-vanilla sweetness of the sweet itself, sitting on top of the dry, hay-like cannabis base rather than blending with it. It is the loudest of the four scents on this listing and reads as sweet shop first and cannabis second. One retailer describes it as strawberry, which is a copied error; it is not.
Is the Chocolate cannabis incense sweet or bitter?
Warm rather than either. A chocolate accord in incense is cocoa and vanilla with a dry, roasted edge, and that edge is what lets it meet the earthy cannabis base halfway. Of the four scents here it blends best with the base, so the room reads as warm and smoky rather than sugary.
Which of the four scents is the strongest?
Bubblegum, by a clear margin, followed by Mango for brightness. Chocolate is warm rather than loud, and Strawberry is the softest and fades into the cannabis base soonest. Match the loudness to the room: the louder the scent, the larger and better ventilated the space should be.
Are these Multitrance incense scents being discontinued?
Three of them are. Our distributor tags Bubblegum, Chocolate and Mango as discontinued lines, and the maker's own Multitrance-branded incense category no longer lists Bubblegum, Mango or Strawberry, which now appear under its HaZe label instead. Strawberry is still a current line with our distributor. What is on this listing is what remains.
Is Multitrance Bubblegum the same as HaZe Bubblegum XL?
Same maker, same scent idea, different line. The HaZe version is documented as produced in the European Union to a machine-consistent format, while the Multitrance-branded stick is described by the maker and our distributor as hand-rolled in India. Expect the HaZe stick to be thinner and cleaner burning and the Multitrance stick denser and smokier.
Are Multitrance cannabis incense sticks made in India or the EU?
Two of three sources say India: our distributor and the maker's own Chocolate page both say made in India, hand-rolled. One Maltese retailer says the European Union, which is where the maker's separate HaZe line is produced. India is the better-supported answer for this line, but we have not read it off a box and say so.
Can I mix scents in a six-pack?
No. A six-pack is six boxes of fifteen sticks in one scent, chosen from the four on this listing. There is no assorted carton. If you want several scents, buy this listing in one scent and add the single-scent listings for Cookies, Blueberry, Nag Champa or the plain Dry Leaves alongside it.
Which of these four is least likely to cloy in a small room?
Strawberry, because it is the softest and fades into the green base soonest, with Chocolate second because its roasted edge keeps it from reading as sugar. Bubblegum and Mango are the two to keep for larger rooms with a window open. Whichever you choose, burn one stick at a time.
