Large is not a dimension

This tray is 27 centimetres wide and 16 deep. The small version of the same line is 18 by 14. Those are the numbers, and they come from the manufacturer's own line page rather than from any retailer.

What makes that worth stating plainly is how easily the word large misleads. Haze Holland's own category page for large rolling trays is a long, thoroughly optimised piece of writing, with sections on how to use a tray, how to clean one and where to buy, and it never once gives a measurement. It uses large, XL and spacious instead.

Compare across brands and the labels fall apart completely. We also stock the RAW Classic Hemp rolling tray, which RAW sells as a small tray and which measures 11 by 7 inches, or roughly 27.9 by 17.8 centimetres. That is larger than this tray in both directions. A small tray from one brand is bigger than a large tray from another.

So the practical advice is to ignore the size word entirely and check the centimetres. If you are replacing a tray you already own, measure it first. If you are buying your first, 27 by 16 is a comfortable working area for a desk or a lap and small enough to put in a drawer.

Three designs here, and three different ones on the small tray

The Ganja Wars line runs to six designs in total. What nobody tells you is that they do not span both sizes.

The large tray carries Alien Puff, Cyborg XXX and Toxic Kushbone. The small tray carries Astro High, Shroom Ninja and Weed Wizard. Three and three, with no overlap. So if you want a particular design you are also choosing a size, whether or not that was the size you wanted.

That is unusual enough to catch people out. A design range normally spans its own size options, and a buyer who finds Weed Wizard and then looks for it in large will not find it, because it does not exist in large.

All three of the large designs are currently available. The artwork across the line is science fiction parody, heavy on neon and character illustration, and it is the entire point of the product: a plain metal tray does the same job.

Double sided print, and what that actually gets you

Every tray in this range is printed on both sides. Nobody explains what that means in practice, which is a shame, because it is the most useful feature of the product.

It means one tray carries two pieces of artwork. Turn it over and you have a different face, so a single tray covers two looks. It also means the underside is finished rather than bare metal, which matters if the tray sits on a surface you care about or gets picked up and carried.

The finish is matte rather than gloss. Matte shows fingerprints far less, does not throw glare under a lamp, and is easier to photograph if that is something you care about. It is slightly less slippery than a gloss finish too.

The tray is metal, with raised edges, and the manufacturer builds them for easy cleaning. In practice that means you can wipe it out rather than picking at corners, which is the main reason people replace flimsy plastic trays.

There is no CBD in a rolling tray

Worth saying plainly on a CBD site. This is a metal tray. It contains no CBD, no CBG, no THC and no cannabinoids of any kind, and nothing about it interacts with the rules that govern the rest of this shop.

It sits in our accessories aisle rather than in a cannabinoid category for exactly that reason. The Ganja Wars artwork is cannabis themed, which is why we carry it alongside the rest of the Haze Holland range, but the theme is on the outside of the product rather than in it.

That also means none of the questions this site spends most of its time on apply here. There is no per container limit to satisfy, no Novel Foods position to explain, no spectrum grade to argue about and no lab report to check. It is a tray.

It is sold to over eighteens, as everything on this site is, and the manufacturer applies an age gate to its own website too.

How it compares with the other trays we stock

Five rolling trays sit on our accessories shelf and they are genuinely different products rather than variations on one.

This Haze Holland large is the design-led option: metal, matte, double sided, at a size that suits a desk. The Haze Holland small is the same construction in a considerably smaller footprint, with its own three designs. RAW's Classic Hemp tray is the plainest and, despite being sold as small, the largest here. Smoke Arsenal's small tray is the most compact of the illustrated options.

Monkey King's Rolling Tray Box is the outlier and the one worth understanding before you compare it: it is a box rather than a flat tray, so it stores as well as holds.

Who should skip this one

If you want a specific Ganja Wars design and it is one of Astro High, Shroom Ninja or Weed Wizard, this is the wrong page. Those three exist only on the small tray.

If you are replacing a tray and want something the same size or bigger, measure what you have first. At 27 by 16 this is smaller than RAW's tray despite the word large, and buying on the label rather than the numbers is how people end up disappointed.

If you want something that stores things as well as providing a surface, a flat tray does not do that and the Monkey King box does.

And if you came to this site looking for CBD, this product has none in it. That is not a criticism of the tray, which is a good tray. It is simply not what most of this shop sells.
