CBD Accessories UK

CBD accessories are the hardware rather than the contents: grinders, rolling trays, rolling machines, hemp wick and incense. Nothing in this aisle contains CBD or any other cannabinoid, and where a product is described as hemp that refers to the material it is made from. That is worth saying in the first line, because one of the pages ranking above this one is titled CBD Accessories and never mentions it. What this page does instead is give you the numbers: what a grinder's piece count changes, which rolling machine size fits which paper, and what hemp wick is actually for.

Nothing here contains CBD, and that is fine

This aisle sells tools. Where hemp appears in a name it is the material the object is made from, and the incense is cannabis-scented, nothing more.

Every other aisle on this site sells something with a cannabinoid in it. This one sells tools.

Hemp appears constantly in the product names here and it means the material. The RAW rolling machines are hemp plastic. The Professor Herb shredder is a biodegradable hemp composite. In every case hemp is what the object is made from, in the same way a bamboo chopping board is bamboo. The exception is the RAW Classic Hemp rolling tray, where Classic Hemp is the name of the artwork and the tray itself is metal.

The one thing that trips people up is the incense, which is cannabis-scented rather than cannabis-anything-else. More on that below, because it is nearly half this aisle and it does not belong with the hardware at all.

If you are here for CBD, our CBD oil, CBD gummies and hemp and hash aisles are where the cannabinoids live. If you are here for the kit that goes with them, read on, because the specifications below are not published anywhere else in this category.

Grinders: what the piece count actually changes

The piece count is the only grinder specification that changes how it is used: two parts keep the material in the teeth, three parts drop it into a chamber.

Grinders are sold by the number of parts they come apart into, and no page ranking for this search explains what that means. It is the only spec that matters, so here it is.

A two-part grinder is two halves with teeth. You put material in, twist, and it stays up in the teeth where you put it. Simple, fewer things to lose, and you scrape it out yourself. The Professor Herb Biodegradable Hemp Shredder works this way.

A three-part adds a chamber underneath. Ground material falls through holes in the grinding plate into that chamber, so you unscrew the bottom and tip it out rather than picking it out of the teeth. Tidier, slightly bulkier, and a configuration we have carried before and will again when a distributor has one.

A four-part, which we do not currently stock, adds a fine mesh screen and a second chamber below it to collect the powder that falls through. It is the connoisseur configuration and it is more grinder than most people need.

On material: every grinder here is hemp composite rather than aluminium. They are lighter, quieter, biodegradable at the end of their life, and they will not survive being dropped on a tiled floor the way a metal one will. That is the honest trade and it is worth knowing before you choose one on environmental grounds alone.

Rolling machines: match the millimetres to your papers

A 70mm machine takes regular papers, 79mm takes one and a quarter, and 110mm takes king size. The number is a fit, not a preference.

This is the single most useful fact in the aisle and not one competing page states it.

Rolling machines are sold by width in millimetres, and that number is not a preference. It has to match the paper you are using, because the machine's rollers are sized to a specific paper length. Put a king size paper in a 70mm machine and it will not close.

RAW makes exactly three sizes, which happens to cover the whole standard range, and we list all three when the distributor has them. The mapping is straightforward once someone writes it down.

All three are hemp plastic rather than conventional plastic. Two of them, the 70mm and the 79mm, are listed as 12 packs, which is a trade quantity rather than a single machine, so check the listing before ordering if one is all you want.

If you are not sure which papers you use, our rolling papers page carries the size classes in millimetres, which is the other half of this table.

Trays: size first, then the lid

Small for a lap or a bag, large for a table, and a closing box if you want things put away rather than laid out.

A rolling tray is a raised-edge surface that stops things going on the carpet. That is the whole idea, and the decision is mostly about size and whether it closes.

Small trays are for a lap, a desk corner or a bag. The RAW Classic Hemp small measures 11 by 7 inches, which is the usual small-tray footprint, and the Smoke Arsenal small sits in the same class. Large trays are for a table and give you room to lay everything out, which is what the Multitrance Ganja Wars large is for.

The lid question is the more interesting one. The Monkey King Rolling Tray Box is a box rather than a tray: it closes, it holds its contents, and it arrives with hemp cones included. If you share a house, want things put away, or move between rooms, a closing box is a different product from an open tray and the better one for that purpose.

Design is a genuine part of this category rather than a decoration. The Monkey King boxes come in six patterns, the Multitrance trays in three designs each across large and small, and the Smoke Arsenal small in three. Nobody buys a tray on specification alone.

One practical note the best competitor page in this category gets right: trays need cleaning. A raised edge collects residue, and hemp and wood surfaces do not take a scrub the way metal does. Wipe rather than soak.

Hemp wick, the least explained thing in this aisle

Hemp wick is beeswax-coated hemp twine. You light the wick and use its flame instead of a lighter's, so you burn wax and fibre rather than butane.

Not one page ranking for this search mentions hemp wick, so here is what it is.

It is a length of hemp twine coated in beeswax. You light the end of the wick from a lighter, then use the flame on the wick rather than the lighter flame itself. The point is that you are burning wax and hemp fibre instead of butane, which changes the taste, and that the flame is smaller and easier to direct.

We have listed the RAW hemp wick as a 3m roll, sold as a 40 pack, which is a trade quantity rather than forty separate rolls in a box on your shelf. It is off the shelf at the moment; the live table further down shows whether it is back.

It is a small thing and it is the sort of item people either swear by or have never heard of. It sits in this aisle rather than with the papers because it is hardware rather than a consumable you roll.

Incense is not a smoking accessory

The Multitrance incense sticks scent a room. They are not smoked, they contain no cannabinoid, and cannabis in the name is a fragrance.

Multitrance cannabis incense sticks are the largest sub-shelf here by some distance and the one most likely to be bought by mistake.

The range covers dry cannabis and fresh cannabis leaf scents, plus blends with blueberry, coconut, cookies, vanilla, lemon, mango, strawberry, bubblegum, chocolate and Nag Champa. The Haze range extends that to ten scents including Girl Scout Cookies and Lemon Haze. All are sold in 6 packs.

We keep them in this aisle because they are neither a cannabinoid product nor a consumable you roll, and there is nowhere better for them to go. But they are shelved next to grinders and trays across most of the UK market with no explanation at all, and someone shopping quickly could easily assume they are something they are not.

The five brands here, and what we deliberately do not stock

RAW for functional hardware, Multitrance for incense and decorated trays, and three more filling in around them. No lighters, pipes, bongs, scales or jars, by choice.

Five names cover the aisle, and the split is unusually clean: RAW does the functional hardware, Multitrance does incense and decorated trays, and the rest fill in around them. The live table under this one is read from the shelf as it stands today.

The more useful half of this section is what is missing. Most head shops competing for this term also sell lighters, pipes, bongs, ashtrays, scales and storage jars. We stock none of them. Lighters are an explicit exclusion made by our buyer, and the rest fall outside what a CBD shop should be selling. If that is what you came for, this is the wrong shop and we would rather say so than have you search the site for ten minutes.

Reading the pack counts, and who this aisle is not for

A bracketed number here is almost always a trade quantity. Check the listing before ordering one of anything.

The same labelling problem runs through this shelf as through the papers and the sweets. The RAW 70mm and 79mm machines are 12 packs, the hemp wick is a 40 pack, and every incense line is a 6 pack. If you want one of something, check the listing before ordering, because several hardware lines here are not sold singly.

Everything in this aisle is sold to over-18s only.

Not for you if

  • You are looking for a cannabinoid. There is not one in here, and that is the point of the first section
  • You want a metal grinder. Ours are hemp composite, which is lighter and biodegradable and genuinely less durable. The right choice on environmental grounds and the wrong one if you drop things
  • You need a lighter, a pipe, an ashtray, scales or a storage jar. You will not find one here and will not in future either
  • You are buying incense expecting anything other than a scented room. That is the wrong product, which is a sentence no other page in this category has thought worth writing

Looking for the CBD itself

Hemp papers, wraps, cones and the accessories that go with them.

Questions people ask

Do any of these accessories contain CBD?

No. This aisle is hardware and incense, and none of it contains CBD or any other cannabinoid. Where hemp appears in a product name it describes the material the item is made from, such as the hemp composite grinders and the hemp plastic rolling machines. For actual cannabinoids, our oil, gummies and hemp and hash aisles are the ones to browse.

What is the difference between a two part and a three part grinder?

Where the ground material ends up. A two part is two halves with teeth and everything stays up in them, so you scrape it out. A three part adds a chamber underneath that catches what falls through, which you unscrew and tip out. A four part, which we do not stock, adds a mesh screen and a second chamber for the fine powder.

Which rolling machine size do I need?

Match the millimetres to your papers. A 70mm machine takes regular or single wide papers, 79mm takes one and a quarter, and 110mm takes king size and king size slim. This is not a preference: the rollers are built to a paper length, so a king size paper will not close in a 70mm machine. Our rolling papers page lists the size classes.

What is hemp wick for?

It is hemp twine coated in beeswax. You light the wick from a lighter and then use the wick's flame, so you are burning wax and fibre rather than butane, which changes the taste and gives you a smaller flame that is easier to aim. We list the RAW 3m roll when it is in stock, as a 40 pack, which is a trade quantity.

Is cannabis incense a smoking product?

No. It is incense that scents a room, and the cannabis in the name describes the fragrance in exactly the way vanilla does on another stick. It contains no cannabinoid and it is not meant to be inhaled deliberately. Incense is the largest sub-shelf in this aisle and the one most often bought by mistake.

What size rolling tray should I buy?

Small for a lap, a desk corner or a bag, and large for a table where you want everything laid out. The RAW Classic Hemp small is 11 by 7 inches, which is the standard small footprint. If you would rather things were put away than laid out, the Monkey King box closes and holds its contents, which is a different product from an open tray.

Are hemp grinders as good as metal ones?

They are lighter, quieter and biodegradable, and they are less durable. A hemp composite grinder will not survive a tiled floor the way an aluminium one will. Every grinder in this aisle is hemp composite, so if durability matters more to you than the material, this is not the aisle for that purchase and we would rather say so.

Do you sell lighters, pipes, storage or scales?

No, and we do not plan to. Lighters are an explicit exclusion made by our buyer, and pipes, bongs, ashtrays, scales and storage jars sit outside what we think a CBD shop should stock. Most of the head shops ranking alongside this page do sell them, so if that is what you need, you will find it elsewhere.

Why are the rolling machines sold in twelve packs?

Because they arrive from the distributor that way. The 70mm and 79mm RAW machines are listed as 12 packs and the hemp wick as a 40 pack, which are trade quantities rather than a single item. The 110mm machine is sold on its own. Check the bracketed number on any listing here before ordering, since it is a count rather than a size.
