CBD E-Liquid UK
CBD e-liquid is bottled vape juice you pour into a tank or a refillable pod yourself, which makes it the flexible half of vaping CBD: your device, your flavour, your strength. The figure on the bottle is a total, though, and totals are the reason this aisle confuses people. Orange County sells a 300mg 10ml and a 1500mg 50ml, and despite one number being five times the other they are the same liquid at the same strength. Divide by the volume and the shelf makes sense. This page does that for every bottle we stock, covers booster shots properly, and answers the one safety question that matters here.

Divide by the bottle before you compare anything
Total milligrams divided by millilitres is the only figure that compares two bottles, and a 300mg 10ml and a 1,500mg 50ml come out identical.
The number on a CBD e-liquid bottle is the total amount of CBD in it. To compare two bottles you need the total divided by the volume, which gives milligrams in each millilitre. That is the figure your device actually delivers, and it is the one almost nobody publishes.
Run it across our shelf and the ranking changes. Orange County's 300mg 10ml and its 1500mg 50ml both come out at 30mg in every millilitre. Identical liquid, identical strength, one bottle simply five times the size of the other. Darwin's 3000mg 60ml and Orange County's Cali 2500mg 50ml both land at 50mg, so a headline gap of 500mg between them means nothing at all.
At the other end, Psycho Bunny's 300mg 30ml is 10mg in a millilitre, which makes it the mildest thing here despite carrying the same 300mg on the front as an Orange County bottle that is three times stronger. And the Eco-CBD booster shot is 100mg, ten times the Psycho Bunny, because a shot is concentrate rather than a finished juice.
Some brands print the percentage instead, which is the same number written differently: 3 percent is 30mg in a millilitre, 5 percent is 50mg, 10 percent is 100mg. Orange County's Cali range prints both, which is the most helpful labelling in the aisle and something the rest of the market could copy.

Why CBD juice comes in 50ml and 60ml when nicotine liquid cannot
The 10ml bottle cap is a nicotine rule. Nothing in this aisle contains nicotine, so bottle size is a supply decision, not a strength one.
Anyone who has bought a nicotine e-liquid knows the 10ml bottle. It is not a packaging convention, it is the law: the tobacco and related products regulations cap nicotine-containing e-liquid at 10ml a bottle and 20mg of nicotine per millilitre.
Everything in this aisle is nicotine-free, so those caps do not apply. That is the entire reason Orange County can sell a 50ml and Darwin a 60ml, and it is why CBD bottle sizes look inconsistent next to the nicotine shelf in the same shop.
The practical consequence is that bottle size and strength are unrelated here in a way they are not with nicotine. A 60ml bottle is a supply decision. Work out the millilitre figure first, decide whether that suits you, and only then choose how much of it you want to own.
One thing that does still apply: a large bottle of anything you are only part way through is worth storing properly. Keep it upright, sealed, out of sunlight, and away from a warm windowsill.
Booster shots, and what happens to your bottle when you add one
A shot is a concentrate you dilute into juice you already own. The milligrams stay the same; the volume they are spread through is what you choose.
A booster shot is concentrated CBD in a small bottle, designed to be added to e-liquid you already own rather than vaped neat. We stock one: the Eco-CBD 10ml isolate shot at 1,000mg.
The appeal is obvious. You already have a flavour you like, and a shot turns it into a CBD version of itself without buying a new juice. Four of the five pages ranking above this one do not mention booster shots at all, and none of them shows the arithmetic, which is a shame because the arithmetic is the whole decision.
It works like this. The CBD in the shot does not change when you add it, but the volume it is spread through does. A 1,000mg 10ml shot poured into a 50ml shortfill gives you 1,000mg in 60ml of finished liquid, or roughly 16.7mg in each millilitre. Put the same shot into 30ml and you get 25mg. Put it into 10ml and you get 50mg, matching the strongest ready-made bottle on this page.
| Add the shot to | Finished volume | In each millilitre | Comparable to |
|---|---|---|---|
| 50ml of your own liquid | 60ml | About 16.7mg | Between the Orange County and Darwin strengths |
| 30ml of your own liquid | 40ml | 25mg | Below the Professor Herb bottle |
| 10ml of your own liquid | 20ml | 50mg | The Darwin and Cali 5 percent strength |
| Half a shot into 50ml | 55ml | About 9mg | Around the Psycho Bunny strength |
Isolate, distillate and what the Cali range actually is
Isolate and broad spectrum are the only two extract types in this aisle, distillate is a manufacturing note rather than a third type, and Cali is a flavour range, not a different liquid.
Two extract types are on this shelf, and one of them gets described three different ways across UK retail, which is why it is worth ten lines here.
Isolate is CBD separated from everything else in the plant. Darwin, Professor Herb, Psycho Bunny and the Eco-CBD shot are all isolate. It has no flavour of its own, so the flavouring is doing all the work, and there is nothing else in the bottle to interact with it.
Broad spectrum keeps the wider set of hemp compounds with the THC taken out. Every Orange County line here is broad spectrum. When a brand adds that the extract is a distillate, it is describing how it was made rather than what is in it: the extract has been distilled to concentrate the cannabinoids. Broad-spectrum distillate is therefore not a third category, it is a broad-spectrum extract with a manufacturing note attached.
Full spectrum, the grade that deliberately keeps trace THC, does not appear in this aisle at all. It exists elsewhere on this site, in oil and in the vape pods, but no bottled CBD e-liquid we stock is full spectrum. If avoiding THC entirely is your priority, this is the simplest aisle on the site to shop. The three types are set out in broad spectrum against full spectrum CBD.
The Cali range is the one that confuses people. Orange County runs two separate e-liquid lines: the standard range, flavoured as fruit, menthol, lemonade and tobacco, and the Cali range, named after cannabis varieties and flavoured with terpene profiles to match. Same brand, same broad-spectrum extract, same strengths. The difference is entirely what it tastes like.
The six ranges on this shelf
Darwin for flavour choice, Orange County for bottle sizes and two ranges, Professor Herb and Psycho Bunny for small strain-flavoured lines, Eco-CBD for the booster. The best CBD e-liquid for a first bottle is the mildest one, not the strongest.
Every page ranking for this term sells one catalogue, which means none of them can tell you when a different brand would suit you better. We stock six ranges here, so the comparison is available, and the live table under this one is read from the shelf as it stands today.
In short: Darwin has the deepest flavour list by a wide margin, Orange County has the widest choice of bottle sizes and the only two-range split, Professor Herb and Psycho Bunny are small strain-flavoured lines, and Eco-CBD is the only conventional booster shot.
| Brand | What is here | Extract | Flavours | Worth knowing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Darwin CBD | One 60ml bottle at 3,000mg | Isolate | A dozen, from Bubblegum and Pink Lemonade to several menthol mixes | The largest flavour list in the aisle and the largest bottle. At 50mg in a millilitre it is also one of the two strongest ready-made juices here. |
| Orange County CBD | Five bottles across 10ml and 50ml, in two separate ranges | Broad-spectrum distillate | Fruit, menthol and tobacco on the standard line, strain names on Cali | The only brand giving you the same strength in two bottle sizes, and the only one printing the percentage alongside the total. |
| Professor Herb | One 30ml CBD bottle at 1,000mg, plus a 10ml H4CBD liquid at 1,700mg | Isolate on the CBD bottle; the H4CBD liquid is not CBD | Six on the CBD bottle, including Strawberry Cough and Sour Blueberry Kush | The CBD bottle sits between the mild and strong ends at 33mg in a millilitre. The H4CBD liquid is covered in its own section below. |
| Psycho Bunny | One 30ml bottle at 300mg | Isolate | Three: Kush Cake, Well Baked and Yellow Mirage | The mildest juice on the shelf at 10mg in a millilitre. A reasonable first bottle if you have never vaped CBD. |
| Eco-CBD | One 10ml booster shot at 1,000mg | Isolate | Unflavoured concentrate | The only conventional booster here. Ten percent concentrate, meant to be diluted rather than vaped as it comes. |
| Vitality CBD | Broad-spectrum e-liquids, currently unavailable | Broad spectrum | Lemon and natural | Discontinued by the brand and withheld rather than listed as available. Mentioned so you know why you cannot find them. |

Where this aisle sits in UK law
CBD e-liquid is legal in the UK when the container holds no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids. Novel Foods does not apply to it, and the nicotine bottle cap does not bind it.
Three rules, and only one of them is about the liquid itself. The first is set out in full in is CBD legal in the UK.
The cannabinoid limit is the one that matters. A CBD product may be sold in the UK when it holds no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in the whole container, and that is a per-container test rather than a percentage or a per-millilitre figure. A 60ml bottle gets exactly the same 1mg allowance as a 10ml one. The percentage-of-THC number quoted on two of the pages ranking above this one, and repeated inside a third alongside the correct test as though the two were interchangeable, comes from hemp cultivation licensing. It describes what a farmer may grow under a Home Office licence and has never governed what a shop may sell.
Novel Foods is the rule that does not apply. It covers things that are eaten or drunk, so our gummies, oils and drinks fall inside it while vape liquid does not. If a listing implies an FSA authorisation covers its e-liquid, it is borrowing a badge from a different aisle.
The third is the nicotine regime already covered above, which sets the 10ml bottle cap that nicotine-free CBD liquid is not bound by.
Then the usual, which we will keep saying. Over-18s only. Not medicines, and nobody selling them may tell you what they do for a health condition, whatever you may have read on a page ranking above this one. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or on prescription medication, speak to a GP or pharmacist first.
One bottle here is not CBD
The Professor Herb 1,700mg 10ml vape liquid is H4CBD, a different molecule, and is flagged rather than shelved among the CBD bottles.
At 170mg in a millilitre it is also the most concentrated liquid in the aisle by a wide margin, and it is sold because people report it as considerably stronger than CBD. We list it because our buyer decided to after seeing the full argument, and we flag it here rather than letting it sit unmarked beside the brand's own CBD bottle.
If you are shopping for CBD, every other line on this page is CBD. The rest of the H4CBD range sits in the hemp and hash aisle, and what is H4CBD explains the molecule at length.
The one thing never to do, and when to buy something else
Never put CBD oil in a vape tank. Beyond that, a few honest reasons to shop elsewhere on this site.
Under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding: none of this is for you.
Not for you if
- You do not already own a vape. Start with a pod kit from the CBD vapes aisle rather than a bottle; buying a 60ml before you own a device is a common and avoidable mistake
- You do not vape at all. Do not start for this. Inhaling anything carries risk that swallowing does not, and the same cannabinoid is in CBD oil and CBD gummies
- You want a long-lasting purchase from one order. A tank goes through millilitres quickly; oil measured in drops lasts far longer from a smaller bottle
- Precision matters to you more than speed. Drops under the tongue are measurable in a way that puffs are not. There is no meaningful way to count how much you have taken from a tank
Questions people ask
How do I work out the milligrams in each millilitre?
Divide the total on the bottle by the volume. A 1,500mg 50ml bottle is 30mg in each millilitre, and so is a 300mg 10ml from the same brand, which makes them the same strength despite the very different headline numbers. Where a brand prints a percentage instead, 3 percent is 30mg, 5 percent is 50mg and 10 percent is 100mg.
Can I put CBD oil in my vape tank?
No, and this is the one thing in this aisle worth being firm about. CBD oil for drops is suspended in a carrier oil made to be swallowed, not inhaled through a coil. E-liquid is a completely different formulation. Buy liquid made for vaping, and keep the oil for under your tongue.
What is a CBD booster shot actually for?
Adding CBD to e-liquid you already own and like, rather than buying a new flavour. Our Eco-CBD shot is 1,000mg in 10ml, so poured into a 50ml shortfill it gives about 16.7mg in each millilitre of the finished 60ml. Add half a shot for a milder result. It is concentrate, so it is diluted rather than vaped as it comes.
Why is CBD e-liquid sold in bottles bigger than 10ml?
Because the 10ml bottle cap is a nicotine rule under the tobacco and related products regulations, and everything in this aisle is nicotine-free. That is why Orange County can sell 50ml and Darwin 60ml. It is two different rulebooks rather than an inconsistency, and it means bottle size here tells you nothing about strength.
What is the difference between the Orange County Cali range and the standard one?
Flavour, and nothing else. Both are broad-spectrum distillate at the same strengths in the same bottle sizes. The standard range is flavoured as fruit, menthol, lemonade and tobacco; the Cali range is named after cannabis varieties and flavoured with terpene profiles to match. Choose on taste rather than on any assumption about potency.
Can CBD e-liquid be mixed with a nicotine e-liquid?
Physically yes, since both are e-liquid, but you are diluting each into the other and will end up unsure how much of either you are taking. It also changes the flavour of both. If the aim is CBD in a juice you already enjoy, a booster shot into a nicotine-free shortfill is the cleaner route.
What does distillate mean on a CBD e-liquid label?
It describes how the extract was made rather than what is in it. The extract has been distilled to concentrate the cannabinoids and strip out unwanted plant material. Orange County's lines are broad-spectrum distillate, meaning a broad-spectrum extract that has been through that process, not a separate third type of CBD.
Is any of this full spectrum?
No. Every bottle in this aisle is either isolate or broad spectrum, so none of them deliberately retains THC. Full spectrum does appear elsewhere on this site, in oil and in some vape pods, where the 1mg per container test does real work. For anyone avoiding THC entirely, this is the simplest aisle here to shop.
Which bottle makes sense as a first purchase?
Something in the 10mg to 30mg per millilitre range, which on this shelf means the Psycho Bunny 30ml or an Orange County 10ml. Both let you find out whether you like vaping CBD before committing to a 60ml bottle of one flavour. Buy the small bottle first, then buy the large one of whatever you liked.
