Orange County CBD Cali E-Liquid 2500mg (5%) 50ml holds 2,500mg of broad spectrum CBD in a 50ml bottle, which is 50mg of CBD in every millilitre. That single division is the most important fact about this product and, remarkably, not one page currently ranking for it performs the calculation. The guide that names this bottle the strongest CBD vape in the UK publishes its concentration as roughly 250mg per millilitre, which is five times the real figure. So we will start there, then cover when 5 per cent is the sensible step up from a lower strength, which of the eleven entries in the flavour picker you can actually get today, and what a 50ml container has to satisfy under UK law.
50mg in every millilitre, and the number the strength guides get wrong
2,500mg divided by 50ml is 50mg of CBD per millilitre. The 5 per cent on the label says the same thing a third way. Three figures, one concentration.
This matters because a widely read UK guide to high strength CBD vaping ranks this exact bottle first and then describes it as delivering roughly 250mg per millilitre. A reader working from that number would believe a single pod refill carried 250mg of CBD when it carries about 50mg. The same guide converts another brand's percentage figures into hundreds of milligrams per millilitre by the same route. Percentages and totals are not interchangeable with concentrations, and bottle size does the work people expect the milligram number to do.
The practical read is simpler. A millilitre is roughly one refill on a typical mouth to lung pod, so a fill of this liquid carries about 50mg of CBD and you work through it over a session. Coming from a 300mg 10ml bottle, which is 30mg per millilitre, this is not a leap. Coming from a 100mg starter bottle, it is.

When 5 per cent is the right step up, and when it is not
No product page in the ranking set discusses this at all, which is odd, because it is the only real question a 2500mg bottle raises. The guidance below is about concentration and hardware, not about how much CBD anyone should be having.
The step up makes sense if you already vape CBD daily, already know a 30mg per millilitre liquid suits you, and find yourself taking more draws than you want to in order to get where you are going. It also makes sense if you own a refillable kit already, because 50ml at this concentration is a long refilling cycle rather than a trial.
It does not make sense as a first CBD liquid. Guidance across the wider category, including from the page that ranks first for this term, is to begin with a 100mg to 300mg bottle and move up from there, and that is sound. Nor does it make sense if you mainly want flavour: at 50mg per millilitre the broad spectrum base is more present on the palate than it is at 3 per cent, and some people find that the terpene character crowds the flavouring rather than sitting behind it.
On hardware, lower power is the friendlier setting. The general advice for CBD liquid sits around 10 to 15 watts, and while this liquid tolerates more than most because of its base, a hot coil at 50mg per millilitre gives you a harsher inhale rather than a stronger one.
| Concentration | Per millilitre | Typically suits |
|---|---|---|
| 300mg in 10ml | 30mg | A first CBD liquid, or testing a flavour before committing |
| 1500mg in 50ml | 30mg | Regular use at a familiar concentration, in a large bottle |
| 2500mg in 50ml | 50mg | Established CBD vapers stepping up the per draw amount |
| 3000mg in 60ml | 50mg | The same concentration, isolate rather than broad spectrum |
The eleven entries in the 5 per cent picker, and what is actually available
Orange County publishes ten Cali flavours. Our picker shows eleven entries because our two supply routes disagree on one name: one calls it Star Dawg, the other Star Dawg Kush. Same liquid, two labels. We would rather explain that than quietly claim an extra flavour, and it is worth knowing before you compare our list against someone else's.
Availability is where this strength genuinely differs from its 1500mg sibling, and no competitor page states availability at all. Cherry OG Kush, the flavour with the most published strain heritage in the range, is unavailable at 5 per cent while it is in stock at 3 per cent. If Cherry OG Kush is what you came for, the 1500mg is the bottle to take. Everything else in the range is available here.
The character of each flavour does not change with concentration, but its balance does. At 50mg per millilitre the sweeter flavours read a little heavier and the citrus ones stay cleaner, which is why Super Lemon Haze and Kush Mint are the two most people get on with at this strength. Star Dawg, already the least sweet of the range, becomes properly savoury.
| Flavour | Character at 5 per cent | Availability |
|---|---|---|
| Cherry OG Kush | Sweet and sour cherry with vanilla and citrus over an earthy base | Out of stock at this strength |
| Girl Scout Cookies | Biscuity and sweet with a herbal undertone, the heaviest here | In stock |
| Granddaddy Purple | Dark grape and berry, deep rather than sharp | In stock |
| Kush Mint | Mint over a herbal base, the only cooling option and a good match for 5 per cent | In stock |
| Orange Cream | Vanilla and citrus orange with a tangy edge and an earthy finish | In stock |
| Pineapple Express | Sweet tropical pineapple, the brightest of the fruit group | In stock |
| Star Dawg | Earthy and diesel leaning, properly savoury at this concentration | In stock |
| Star Dawg Kush | The same liquid as Star Dawg under our second supplier's name | In stock |
| Strawberry Cheesecake | Juicy strawberry over a creamy base, sweet and full | In stock |
| Sunset Sherbet | Sherbet, bubblegum, berries and tropical fruit together | In stock |
| Super Lemon Haze | Sharp lemon and citrus, the cleanest inhale at this strength | In stock |
Broad spectrum and the terpenes doing the work
Broad spectrum extract keeps a wide range of hemp compounds and removes THC during processing. Isolate, the alternative, is refined until only cannabidiol remains and everything else is stripped out. Orange County uses broad spectrum for the Cali Range and states plainly that the range contains no THC, because THC is a controlled substance in the UK.
On top of the extract the range is infused with natural terpenes, the aromatic compounds that give a cannabis strain its smell. Retailer listings for this range name limonene, caryophyllene and myrcene among them, which are the terpenes behind citrus brightness, a peppery warmth and an earthy heaviness respectively. That is why the flavours read as strains rather than as sweets, and it is also why the range is not for everyone.
At 5 per cent all of that is turned up. If you have only vaped isolate liquid, where the flavour comes purely from the flavouring, the first few draws of a broad spectrum liquid at this concentration will taste greener than you expect. That settles as you get used to it, but it is worth going in knowing.
How the 2500mg compares with the rest of our e-liquid shelf
A brand site cannot write this section, and none of the resellers ranking for this product does. We stock several CBD liquids, so here is the plain positioning.
By concentration, this bottle ties with Darwin's 3000mg at 50mg per millilitre. Darwin holds more CBD in a larger bottle and runs nineteen flavours, but it is isolate on a high PG base, so it is a different experience in a different sort of device. This liquid is the strongest broad spectrum, terpene infused option we carry in a bottle, and that combination is what it is actually for.
Below it, the Cali 1500mg is the same recipe at 30mg per millilitre and the better first purchase. The Cali 300mg 10ml is the same eleven entries in a bottle small enough to settle the flavour question. Orange County's standard 50ml range shares the strength and the base but drops the terpenes entirely, and its flavour list is fruit, menthol and confectionery instead of strain names.
| E-liquid | CBD in 1 bottle | CBD per ml | Spectrum | Base | Flavours |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Orange County Cali 2500mg 50ml | 2,500mg in 50ml | 50mg | Broad spectrum, terpene infused | 60VG/40PG | 10 |
| Orange County Cali 1500mg 50ml | 1,500mg in 50ml | About 30mg | Broad spectrum, terpene infused | 60VG/40PG | 10 |
| Orange County Cali 300mg 10ml | 300mg in 10ml | About 30mg | Broad spectrum, terpene infused | 60VG/40PG | 10 |
| Orange County standard 1500mg 50ml | 1,500mg in 50ml | About 30mg | Broad spectrum, no terpenes | 60VG/40PG | 11 |
| Darwin CBD 60ml Vape Juice 3000mg | 3,000mg in 60ml | About 50mg | Isolate | 80PG/20VG | 19 |
| Professor Herb CBD Vape Liquid 1000mg 30ml | 1,000mg in 30ml | About 33mg | Isolate | Not published | 6 |
What a 50ml CBD container has to satisfy under UK law
The consumer test is that the container must hold no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids, meaning THC, THCV and CBN. Per container, not per dose, not per serving, and not as a percentage of anything. That limit comes from the exempt product provisions under the Misuse of Drugs Act, which is worth saying because at least one prominent guide attributes it to the Food Standards Agency. The FSA's remit over CBD is Novel Foods, and Novel Foods does not cover vapes at all.
The figure you will still see quoted instead is 0.2 per cent, and one of the pages ranking for this product publishes it. It is a cultivation rule that caps THC in the standing hemp crop grown under a Home Office licence, and it has nothing to do with what may be sold to a consumer. On a 50ml bottle it would allow roughly 100mg of THC, one hundred times the real limit. Broad spectrum extract has the THC removed in processing, which is how a bottle this size stays inside the actual test.
One more figure to set aside. A leading high strength CBD guide still quotes a 70mg daily maximum for CBD. That advice was revised: the FSA lowered its guidance for healthy adults to 10mg a day, announced in October 2023. It was always advice about CBD in food supplements, and this is an inhaled product, so neither number is a dosing instruction for a vape.
Single use vapes, CBD disposables included, have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025 under the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) Regulations 2024. A refillable device with a bottle like this one is the compliant format. Everything on this site is 18+ only.
Who should skip the 2500mg
If this would be your first CBD e-liquid, skip it. Fifty millilitres at 50mg per millilitre is a long commitment to a concentration you have not tested and a terpene character you may not want. The 300mg 10ml exists for precisely this.
If you came for Cherry OG Kush, it is unavailable at this strength and in stock at 1500mg, so take that one instead rather than settling for a flavour you did not want.
If you dislike earthy, herbal or green notes in a vape, this is the wrong line entirely, and 5 per cent is the least forgiving place to discover that. Orange County's standard range shares the base and drops the terpenes. And if you are looking for nicotine, there is none in here, and this liquid is not sold as a way of changing your nicotine habits.
Frequently asked questions
- How many milligrams of CBD are in a millilitre of Orange County Cali 2500mg?
- Fifty milligrams. It is 2,500mg spread across a 50ml bottle, which is also what the 5 per cent on the label means. Be careful with published figures for this product, because at least one prominent UK strength guide states it as roughly 250mg per millilitre, which is five times too high.
- Is the Cali 2500mg the strongest CBD e-liquid available in the UK?
- It is among the strongest by concentration at 50mg per millilitre, and one UK guide ranks it first, but it is not uniquely strong. Darwin's 3000mg 60ml matches it per millilitre and holds more CBD, and distillate pods and cartridges reach far higher concentrations again. Total milligrams and concentration are two different measurements.
- Why is Cherry OG Kush unavailable at 2500mg when you have it at 1500mg?
- Distributor stock, not a change to the range. Orange County still makes Cherry OG Kush at both strengths, but our supply of the 5 per cent version is currently unavailable while the 3 per cent version is in stock. If that flavour is the reason you are here, the 1500mg bottle is the one to take today.
- Can I dilute Orange County Cali 2500mg if it turns out to be too strong?
- Yes, with an unflavoured VG and PG base at a matching ratio, which lowers the concentration and the flavour intensity together in proportion. It is simpler to buy the strength you want, and the same liquid is sold at 3 per cent, so dilution is really a fix for a bottle you already own rather than a plan.
- Which terpenes are named in the Orange County Cali Range?
- Listings for the range name limonene, caryophyllene and myrcene among the natural terpenes infused into it. Those three sit behind citrus brightness, a peppery warmth and an earthy heaviness respectively, which is why the flavours read as cannabis strains rather than as plain fruit or dessert flavourings.
- Will the Cali 2500mg work in a refillable kit I already own?
- Almost certainly. The 60VG/40PG base is thick enough for a sub ohm coil and thin enough to wick in a low power mouth to lung pod, which covers most refillable hardware. A lower power setting is the friendlier option at this concentration, because a hot coil makes the inhale harsher rather than stronger.
- Does the FSA daily CBD figure apply to a 2500mg vape bottle?
- No. FSA intake advice concerns CBD in food supplements, and a vape is not eaten, so the regime does not reach it. Any listing quoting a 70mg daily maximum is also using a superseded number, since the FSA lowered its guidance for healthy adults to 10mg a day in October 2023.
- How much THC is a 50ml CBD bottle allowed to contain in the UK?
- No more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in the whole container, counting THC, THCV and CBN together. The limit is per container rather than a percentage, so it does not scale with bottle size. Broad spectrum extract has the THC removed during processing, which is how a 50ml bottle stays inside it.
