Orange County CBD E-liquid 1500mg 50ml

Clean flavour, not cannabis flavour

Orange County runs two 50ml e-liquid lines at 1,500mg. The Cali Range is infused with natural terpenes and its flavours are named after California cannabis strains, which gives it a herbal, faintly earthy layer underneath the sweetness. This range does none of that.

What you get here is a straightforward flavoured e-liquid that happens to carry CBD. Mango Ice tastes of mango and coolant. Rainbow Candy tastes of mixed fruit sweets. The OC is oranges. Tobacco is tobacco. Broad spectrum extract still sits underneath, but without added terpenes on top it stays in the background instead of arriving first.

That makes this the range to take if you have tried a strain flavoured CBD liquid and found it too green, or if you simply want a vape that tastes like an ordinary e-liquid. It is also the sensible choice if you are switching between a nicotine liquid and a CBD one in the same session, because the flavour families line up.

The brand's own site keeps the two as separate lines, and so should you. They share a strength, a bottle size and a manufacturer, and they are not substitutes for each other.

The base ratio nobody can agree on

Here is the honest position, and no other page selling this liquid states it. The VG and PG ratio of this range is published three different ways across UK retailers, and the manufacturer does not publish it on its own range page at all.

One retailer states 50VG/50PG in both its page copy and its web address. Two others carry 60VG/40PG in their titles and addresses. A fourth states nothing. Those are not trivial differences to a vaper: a 50/50 liquid is thinner, wicks fast, and is built for tight mouth to lung coils, while a 60/40 leans further towards vapour and copes better with a wider bore coil.

The practical consequence is smaller than the confusion suggests, which is worth saying rather than making a drama of it. Both ratios sit in the same broad territory, and both are comfortable in a refillable pod kit or a mouth to lung tank, which is where the great majority of CBD vaping happens. If you run a high powered direct to lung setup, a 50/50 liquid is the less happy fit of the two, so that hardware is the one case where the uncertainty actually matters, and there you should choose a liquid with a published high VG figure instead.

There is a likely explanation, and it points at 50/50. Orange County runs two e-liquid lines, and the terpene infused Cali Range is published as 60VG/40PG almost everywhere it is sold. Every source we can find describing this standard range specifically, including the 10ml version of it, gives 50/50. So a 60/40 figure on a standard range listing looks like Cali specification carried across rather than a real difference in the bottle.

We would rather set out what the evidence shows than repeat one figure with false confidence. If Orange County publishes a definitive ratio for this range we will state it here.

Every flavour in the picker

Orange County publishes ten flavours in this range. Our picker shows eleven, and the reason is worth a sentence: our two supply routes label the energy drink flavour differently, one as Energy and the other as Energy Ice, and the brand itself uses Energy Ice. It is one liquid appearing twice, not an extra flavour. That is the same thing that happens to Star Dawg on the Cali line.

Descriptions vary across shops too. Heisen is the clearest example: the manufacturer describes it as summer fruit with spearmint undertones, while at least one retailer sells it as Blueberry Ice. Both readings point at the same thing, a cool fruit flavour with a mint edge, but if you are comparing listings you will see two different descriptions of one bottle.

Everything in this range is currently available, which is not true of the Cali line, where Cherry OG Kush is out of stock in two of its three sizes.

30mg per millilitre, and what that means in use

1,500mg divided by 50ml is 30mg of CBD per millilitre. Not one page ranking for this product performs that division, which has been true of every Orange County liquid we have written up.

A millilitre is roughly one pod refill on a typical mouth to lung device, so a fill carries about 30mg of CBD and you work through it across a session rather than in a handful of draws. That puts this in the middle of the market: comfortably above a 100mg starter bottle, well below the 50mg per millilitre liquids sold as high strength.

It is also worth separating inhaled CBD from the swallowed kind. It reaches you through the lungs rather than the gut, so lining a vape strength up against an oil strength does not tell you much. The two are better thought of as different formats than as two doses of the same thing.

Against the Cali line and the rest of our shelf

A brand cannot write this section about itself and none of the retailers ranking for this liquid attempts it. We stock both Orange County lines and several rivals, so the comparison is available to us.

The closest relative is the Cali 1500mg 50ml: identical strength, identical bottle, identical concentration, and a completely different flavour philosophy. If you want strain character, that is the one. If you want your mango to taste of mango, this is. The 300mg 10ml version of this same range is the small bottle for trying a flavour first, at the same 30mg per millilitre.

Outside Orange County the trade is spectrum and strength. Darwin holds twice the CBD in a slightly larger bottle at 50mg per millilitre and runs nineteen flavours, but it is isolate on a high PG base, so it suits tight mouth to lung hardware specifically. Professor Herb and Psycho Bunny are isolate too, the latter far gentler at roughly 10mg per millilitre.

Undetectable, a percentage, and the test that actually applies

The UK consumer test is that the container holds no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in total, meaning THC, THCV and CBN. Per container, regardless of the container's size, and not expressed as a percentage of anything. It comes from the exempt product provisions under the Misuse of Drugs Act. Nobody in the ranking set for this liquid states it.

What they state instead pulls in two directions. One retailer publishes THC Level Undetectable and a percentage ceiling on the same page, which are different claims that cannot both be doing the work. Undetectable is a laboratory result and depends on the sensitivity of the instrument. A percentage ceiling is a threshold. Neither is the statutory test.

Another retailer goes further and writes that its CBD products sit under a percentage figure and are therefore within the UK legal limit. That reasoning is the thing to be careful about. The percentage most often quoted is a cultivation rule, capping THC in the standing hemp crop grown under a Home Office licence, and it says nothing about what may lawfully be sold to a consumer. Applied to a 50ml bottle it would permit roughly 100mg of THC, one hundred times the real limit. Broad spectrum extract has the THC taken out during processing, which is the actual mechanism keeping a bottle this size compliant.

Two closing points. Vapes sit outside the FSA Novel Foods regime, which covers ingestible CBD only, so describing an inhaled liquid as a supplement, as two pages in this set do, is a category error and daily intake advice written for food supplements does not apply to it. And single use vapes including CBD disposables have been banned in the UK since 1 June 2025 under the Environmental Protection (Single-use Vapes) Regulations 2024, which is why a refillable device with a bottle like this is the compliant format. Who should skip this one

If you want the cannabis strain character, this is the wrong line and no flavour in it will get you there. The Cali Range exists for exactly that and shares this bottle size and strength.

If you run a high powered direct to lung device, the unresolved base ratio makes this a gamble in a way it is not for a pod user. Pick a liquid with a clearly published high VG figure instead of hoping this one is the 60/40 version.

If you want a stronger inhale, 30mg per millilitre is mid range and buying the 50ml rather than the 10ml changes how long it lasts, not how strong it is. And if you are here for nicotine, there is none in this liquid, and it is not sold as a way of changing your nicotine habits. The Tobacco flavour is a flavour, nothing more.
