What this material is, and why the answer matters here

Hash is resin pressed from the cannabis plant. Our supplier's description for this piece, and for every one of the seventeen Euphoria hash pieces we carry, says it is made of one hundred per cent pure Cannabis sativa with full spectrum CBD and natural terpenes.

That is a straightforward statement about plant material, and it puts this product on a particular side of a line that runs through the whole of British hemp law. The industrial hemp licensing regime covers the seed and the stalk. Leaf and flower are not covered by it. Resin is neither seed nor stalk.

We drew the same line on the hemp seed chocolate elsewhere in this range, where it fell the reassuring way: hemp seed is an ordinary food precisely because it is the seed. Here it falls the other way, and pretending otherwise would make the earlier page dishonest.

So we will say it plainly. This product is on our shelves because the owner of this shop decided to stock it, having been given the arguments, and it sits alongside the H4CBD lines and the smokable hemp under the same explicit decision. We would rather sell it with the position stated than either bury the question or refuse to answer it.

What we will not do is tell you it is uncomplicated, because it is not.

The published THC figure is twice the limit on a one gram piece

This is the part that matters most and it takes thirty seconds of arithmetic that nobody selling this product has done in public.

Our supplier publishes a THC upper bound for this piece, and for the entire Euphoria hash range, of two tenths of one per cent. The piece weighs one gram.

Two tenths of one per cent of one gram is two milligrams.

The British consumer test for controlled cannabinoids is one milligram per container. Per container, whatever the container holds. So the upper bound the seller itself publishes works out, on its face, at twice the limit that applies.

That is arithmetic on their published percentage, not a statement about what is in any particular piece. A percentage is an upper bound on a proportion, and the actual figure could be anywhere below it. The only document that settles the question is a per-batch certificate of analysis, and we have not been sent one for this line.

So this page does not tell you the piece meets the per-container test, does not imply it, and will not until the certificate arrives. We have requested it. Every full spectrum product on this site carries the same caveat, and this is the sharpest example of why: a one gram container is small enough that a percentage which sounds negligible is not.

Collection item, and a supplier that disclaims its own product

The brand and its retailers describe these pieces as a collection item. One seller goes further and states the product is for collecting purposes and for further processing.

That wording does work. Ingestible cannabinoid products need Novel Foods authorisation in Britain, and no CBD extract holds one. A product presented as a collectable rather than as a food is not making a food claim at all. We saw the identical manoeuvre one product earlier in this range, where several Euphoria oils are labelled as being for aromatherapy while a stablemate ships a recommended daily intake.

A distributor declining to stand behind the legal status of what it sells is a fact a customer should have in front of them, so there it is. We are not passing that disclaimer on as our own. We are telling you it exists.

For the avoidance of doubt: we make no Novel Foods claim for this product, because none could be made, and we make no claim about what it does.

The strength ladder, from six to forty per cent

Euphoria builds this range as a ladder of stated CBD percentages across identical one gram pieces, with the strain name carrying the terpene profile. Seventeen of them are on our shelves and no page anywhere sets the ladder out.

One thing to notice while reading it. The THC wording is the same at every rung, because that bound is on the piece rather than on the CBD. A forty per cent piece and a six per cent piece carry the same published upper bound and the same one gram weight, so the arithmetic in the section above does not improve as the CBD figure rises.

What Girl Scout Cookies refers to, and the name our listing lost

Girl Scout Cookies is a cannabis strain name, and on this product it describes the terpene profile rather than anything about the cannabinoid content. All three pieces at this strength carry the same nine per cent figure. What changes between them is the aroma.

The profile is generally described as sweet and earthy with a bakery note, which is where the name comes from, alongside a peppery edge. That comes from the terpenes rather than from the CBD, which has no smell of its own worth mentioning.

A correction on our side while we are here. Our catalogue had this listed simply as Euphoria CBD Hash 9% with the strain dropped, which is unhelpful when there are three pieces at nine per cent and the strain is the only thing telling them apart. We have put it back in the display name and the underlying record is being fixed. This is the third time in this bucket that a name or an image has arrived from the feed incomplete.

Who should not buy this

Anyone who needs to know the THC content. We cannot tell you it, the only published figure is a percentage that works out above the per-container limit on a one gram piece, and no batch report has been provided. That is the honest position and it is not a comfortable one.

Anyone who is drug tested. Full spectrum material retains THC by design and no seller can responsibly tell you otherwise.

Anyone who wants a product whose regulatory position is settled. This one's is not, and the people selling it into the UK describe it as a collectable while declining to stand behind its legal status.

Anyone looking for an ingestible CBD product. There is no Novel Foods authorisation here and none is claimed. The oils, capsules and edibles elsewhere on this site are a different proposition entirely, and the ones that state a milligram figure on the label are the sensible place to start.

And anyone who came to this page hoping we would simply say it is fine. We would rather be the shop that told you what it did not know.
