Euphoria Gelato CBD Hash 19% is a one gram piece of pressed cannabis resin carrying nineteen per cent full spectrum CBD, which works out at roughly a hundred and ninety milligrams, in the terpene profile the brand calls Gelato. Something odd happens when you look at this range as a whole. The seventeen pieces are named after four completely different things, and no page selling them tells you which is which, so a name like Bubble and a name like Choco appear to be doing the same job when they are not doing remotely the same job.

Four naming systems, running at once

Read the names across this range and they look like flavours. They are not. They come from four separate places, and knowing which one you are looking at is the difference between choosing a piece deliberately and choosing it because the word sounded nice.

Bubble is a production method. Bubble hash is made by solventless ice-water extraction: cold water and ice make the resin glands brittle enough to snap off the plant, and the mixture is then filtered through a series of progressively finer bags. It is a technique from the 1980s, and it says nothing about strain or origin.

Moroccan, Afghan and Charas are regional traditions. Moroccan-style hash is dry-sieved, pressed into dark brown or golden blocks, and characteristically mild and slightly sweet. Charas is the hand-rubbed kind, traditionally made in India and Nepal by working the resin off living plants, which produces a soft, sticky texture rather than a hard block. Afghan describes a darker, earthier regional style.

Gelato, which is what this piece is, belongs to the third group. It is a cannabis strain name, and on a CBD product it describes the terpene profile and therefore the smell. It tells you nothing about strength or method.

And Caramello and Choco are simply flavours, which is the fourth system and the only one that means exactly what it appears to.

One caveat that nobody in this market prints. These pieces are made for a Czech company, so a regional name on this range is a style reference rather than a statement of origin. Charas here does not mean somebody hand-rubbed a living plant in the Himalayas, and Moroccan does not mean Morocco. Read them as descriptions of the intended character.

Nineteen per cent, in the units nobody prints

Everyone selling CBD hash publishes a percentage. Nobody publishes a milligram figure, even though the conversion on a one gram piece is the easiest arithmetic in this catalogue.

Nineteen per cent of one gram is about a hundred and ninety milligrams of CBD. Here is the whole ladder in the same units.

That is worth having in front of you for two reasons. The first is that a percentage flatters a small piece: nineteen per cent sounds modest next to a gummy advertised at three hundred milligrams, and it is not far off it. The second is sharper. This category is perfectly comfortable expressing CBD as a percentage and never as milligrams, while milligrams are precisely the unit the UK legal test uses for the other cannabinoid in the piece. We have set that argument out in full on the nine per cent listing.

What Gelato refers to, and the second Gelato on our shelves

Gelato as a strain is known for a sweet, dessert-leaning aroma with a creamy edge and a citrus lift behind it, which is where the name came from. On a CBD hash piece that character comes entirely from the terpenes rather than from the cannabinoid, since CBD itself has no meaningful smell.

The three pieces Euphoria makes at this strength all carry the same nineteen per cent figure. Candy Jack is sharper and sweeter, Gypsy Haze is more herbal, and Gelato sits in the middle as the rounded one. Choosing between them is a choice about aroma and nothing else.

Worth knowing, because it catches people out: we stock two different products called Gelato. This one is a one gram Euphoria piece recorded as full spectrum. The other is a Professor Herb hemp briquette at three and a half grams, from a different manufacturer, recorded in our data as an isolate. Same strain name, different maker, different material, different size and a different spectrum.

The strain name travels between manufacturers. Nothing else about the product does, and no page anywhere compares the two.

The THC question, in short

This is a full spectrum product, which means the other plant compounds are deliberately retained, THC included. The only THC figure anyone publishes for this range is a percentage, and on a one gram piece that percentage works out above the UK per-container limit on its face.

We have not been sent a per-batch certificate of analysis for this line. So this page does not tell you the piece meets the per-container test and does not imply it. The full arithmetic, and the reason a percentage is the wrong number entirely, is set out on the nine per cent listing rather than repeated here.

The same applies to the framing. These pieces are sold as collection items, no Novel Foods authorisation exists for them and none is claimed, and they are stocked on an explicit decision by the owner of this shop alongside the other hemp and hash lines. Everything here is eighteen plus.

Who should skip this piece

Anyone who needs the THC content established. Nothing has changed since the nine per cent piece: only a percentage is published, no batch report has arrived, and we are not going to fill that gap with an assurance.

Anyone who is drug tested. Full spectrum retains THC by design.

Anyone choosing on strength alone. A hundred and ninety milligrams in a gram sits in the middle of this range, and if the number is what you are optimising for then the forty per cent pieces are four times it. Whether that is a sensible way to choose is a separate question.

Anyone who wanted a particular style rather than a particular smell. If the appeal is hand-rubbed charas or ice-water bubble hash, Gelato is a strain name and will not give you either.

And anyone looking for an ingestible CBD product. This is not one, no authorisation exists, and the oils and edibles elsewhere on this site are the right shelf.

Frequently asked questions

How many milligrams of CBD are in a 19 per cent hash piece?
Roughly a hundred and ninety milligrams in a one gram piece. The category publishes percentages rather than milligrams, so the conversion is rarely done for you, but on a gram it is simply the percentage read as milligrams.
What does Gelato mean on a CBD hash?
It is a cannabis strain name being used to describe the terpene profile, and therefore the aroma. Gelato is known for a sweet, dessert-leaning smell with a creamy edge and a citrus lift. It says nothing about the strength, which is the same across all three pieces at this rung.
What is bubble hash and how is it different?
Bubble hash is a production method rather than a strain. It uses solventless ice-water extraction: cold water makes the resin glands brittle enough to snap off, and the mixture is filtered through progressively finer bags. It is a technique from the 1980s and tells you nothing about which plant it came from.
Is Moroccan CBD hash actually from Morocco?
On this range, no. These pieces are made for a Czech company, so regional names are style references rather than origin claims. Moroccan describes a dry-sieved, mild and slightly sweet character, and Charas describes a soft hand-rubbed texture, regardless of where either was actually produced.
What is charas hash?
The hand-rubbed kind, traditionally made in India and Nepal by working resin off living plants with the palms. That gives a soft, sticky resin rather than a pressed block. As a name on a modern CBD range it is describing that texture and character rather than the traditional process.
Which Euphoria hash pieces are 19 per cent?
Three: Candy Jack, Gelato and Gypsy Haze. They share the same stated strength and differ only in terpene profile, so the choice between them is entirely about aroma. Candy Jack is the sharpest and sweetest, Gypsy Haze the most herbal, Gelato the most rounded.
Why do you list two products called Gelato?
Because two different manufacturers use the same strain name. This one is a one gram Euphoria piece recorded as full spectrum. The other is a Professor Herb hemp briquette at three and a half grams, recorded as an isolate. The name travels between makers and nothing else does.
Does a higher percentage make a better hash?
It makes a stronger one on paper, and that is all it makes. Percentage says nothing about the production method, the terpene profile or the texture, which are the things that actually differ between these pieces. Choosing on the number alone ignores most of what distinguishes them.
