Our distributor's description for this pot runs: Euphoria CBD Hash with 9 per cent full spectrum CBD and terpenes, each pot contains 1g, a THC figure given as a percentage, made of 100 per cent pure Cannabis sativa. Then this: we do not accept any responsibility for the misuse or legal status of these products.

We checked that closing line against every other Euphoria hash body in the feed, at 6, 19, 25 and 40 per cent. It appears on none of them. This listing is the only one carrying it.

Read the two statements together. A percentage is offered in the place where a compliance figure belongs, and then responsibility for the legal status of the product is disclaimed. If the percentage settles the question, the disclaimer is redundant. If it does not, the percentage should not be sitting there as though it did.

We are not scoring a point off our own supplier for the sake of it. The disclaimer is arguably the more honest of the two sentences, because the percentage genuinely cannot answer the question. It is the combination that misleads: a buyer skims the number, feels reassured, and never reaches the line that withdraws the reassurance.

Our own position, unchanged from the rest of this range: the United Kingdom rule is a maximum of 1mg of controlled cannabinoids per container, and a percentage only becomes a milligram figure once you know the container size. The same THC figure appears on every strength in the range

Here is the part that settles what that percentage is actually worth, and it takes one comparison nobody has published.

We pulled the description for every strength tier in this range and compared the THC figures. The 6 per cent pot, the 9 per cent pot you are looking at, the 19 per cent, the 25 per cent and the 40 per cent all carry the identical figure. It does not move.

A pot pressed to more than four times the cannabinoid concentration of the weakest one in the range reports exactly the same THC content as the weakest one. A genuine measurement of a finished concentrate would not behave like that. Concentration concentrates everything in the trichome, not just the cannabidiol.

So the figure is boilerplate carried across the whole range from the hemp cultivation licence, rather than a result from testing any of these pots. That is the most useful thing we can tell you about it, and it is why we read the number as telling you nothing about this container.

What would tell you something is a batch certificate reporting milligrams in the finished pot. We are asking our distributor for those across this range and will publish figures when we hold them, not before.

Lab-tested for purity is not the same document as a batch certificate

The sibling pot at this tier, Girl Scout Cookies, is described as lab-tested for purity and, in the same sentence, as having no psychoactive effect on the strength of the percentage. Those are two different claims resting on one word.

Purity testing normally means screening for things that should not be there: residual solvents, pesticides, heavy metals, microbial contamination. It is worth having and it is a reasonable thing for a producer to do.

It is not a measurement of how much of a controlled cannabinoid is in a finished pot. That is a separate assay, reported in milligrams for the container, and it is the only document that answers the legal question. A product can be entirely clean and still hold more THC per pot than the rule allows.

So when a listing pairs a purity claim with a psychoactive-effect claim, the second is not supported by the first. Ask which test, on which batch, reporting what unit.

Nine per cent is the beginner tier, and almost all of it is unavailable

Nine per cent of a gram is about 90 milligrams of CBD in the pot, against roughly 190 at the 19 per cent tier and around 400 at 40 per cent. In a pressed concentrate with no measured dose, that difference matters more than it would in an oil.

This is the tier to start at, and there is an awkward fact behind that advice. Four listings sit at 9 per cent and only this one is in stock: Gorilla Glue, Girl Scout Cookies and an unnamed 9 per cent listing are all unavailable. The 6 per cent tier below it, Kush and Critical and Amnesia, is entirely out of stock as well.

So on our shelf today, this pot is the only genuinely gentle Euphoria hash you can buy. If you have read our other hash pages recommending that you start low, this is the product that advice points at.

Availability at the distributor moves without notice, so if the tier matters more to you than the strain, ask us what has come back in rather than assuming from what is showing.

What Jamaican Dream actually smells like

There is a published aroma note for this strain, which is more than can be said for some of the others in the range. A UK retailer describes it as a tropical-led profile with earthy depth and subtle sweet undertones, and separately as an earthy herbal base with light tropical sweetness, a hint of citrus and a smooth finish.

That matches what the name suggests and what a lighter press tends to give: at 9 per cent there is more plant character in the pot and less of the flat, concentrated sweetness the 40 per cent strains lead with. Gentler is not only about strength here, it changes the aroma too.

The hash is pressed with the terpenes retained, which is what full spectrum means in this range and also the reason the THC question above arises at all. An isolate concentrate would not raise it.

It warms and softens in the hand rather than crumbling, which is normal for a pressed hash at this strength.

Where it sits against the rest of the range

The ladder runs 6, 9, 19, 25 and 40 per cent. This is the second rung and, at the moment, the lowest one available.

The last row is included because it sits on the same shelf and is not the same kind of product. H4CBD is a semi-synthetic hydrogenated cannabinoid, it is not CBD, it holds no Novel Foods authorisation, and it is on our site on an explicit decision by the owner rather than on the same footing as anything above it.

Who this is not for

Anyone who needs the THC position settled first. It is not settled. The figure our supply chain publishes is identical on every strength in the range, which tells you it was not measured on this pot, and we hold no batch certificate. We would rather you knew that than bought on a number that does not move.

Anyone expecting to eat it. This format is sold across the trade for aroma rather than consumption, and one pot in the range is even described as a collection item. That framing is doing legal work, not being coy.

Anyone who wants a measured dose. There is none in a pressed pot. If a printed figure per serving is what you need, an oil or a gummy is the format and this is not.

Anyone set on a specific strain at this strength. Three of the four 9 per cent strains are unavailable and the whole 6 per cent tier is out, so at the gentle end you take what is in stock or you wait.

And anyone who reads a purity test as a compliance test. They are different documents. Clean and legal are not the same claim, and only one of them is answered by a milligram figure on a batch certificate.
