Bubble names a method everywhere except, apparently, here

Across the wider industry, bubble hash means one specific thing: hash made by ice water extraction. It is a description of process, not of taste, and it is the reason the term carries weight.

Now look at how this product is actually described by the people selling it. The material is given as pure Cannabis Sativa, infused with a forty per cent full spectrum CBD extract and natural terpenes, with a rich natural aroma and a bubble flavour.

Two words there do a lot of work. Infused is not extracted. A product infused with an extract is a base material with something added to it, which is close to the opposite of what ice water extraction produces, where the concentrate is the extracted material itself.

And bubble flavour puts the word in the same grammatical slot as the other two names in Euphoria's forty per cent tier, Choco and Caramello, which are unambiguously flavours.

So on the balance of what is published, the most method-specific term in the category is being used here as a flavour name on a product that is described as infused. We are not accusing anyone of anything. We are reading the words the manufacturer chose, and they do not describe ice water extraction.

If the extraction method is what you are buying, that matters, and the next section explains why.

What bubble hash actually is, and why anyone cares

Genuine ice water extraction uses three things: ice, water and agitation. Frozen plant material is stirred in ice water, the resin heads become brittle and snap off, and a series of mesh screens catches them by size. That is the entire process.

The reason people pay attention to it is what is absent. There is no solvent. No butane, no ethanol, no CO2, which means nothing to purge afterwards and nothing to test for as a residue. Solvent-based concentrates such as butane hash oil require vacuum purging and residual solvent testing precisely because a solvent was involved.

There is a second consequence. Because nothing is dissolved and nothing is driven off with heat, the terpene profile survives more intact than it does through a solvent process. That is a flavour and aroma argument rather than a safety one.

The trade-off is yield. Solventless extraction recovers less from the same material than a solvent process does, which is why it tends to be scarcer.

Here is the thing worth noticing about our own shelf, and it applies to every brand on it. No hash listing we carry states how the material was made, except the two with bubble in the name. In a category where the production method genuinely changes what you are inhaling, that is a real gap, and it is not one we can fill with a guess.

Three names, three completely different kinds of thing

Euphoria's hash range is named on at least four incompatible axes at once, which makes comparing across it harder than it should be.

Some names are cannabis strains: Amnesia, Gelato, Gorilla Glue, Candy Jack, Gypsy Haze, Critical, Kush. Some are places or traditions: Moroccan, Afghan, Jamaican Charas. Some are flavours: Choco, Caramello. And one is a production method: Bubble.

A buyer looking at a list of them has no way of knowing which axis any given name sits on, or that the axes differ at all. Choosing between Choco and Gelato is choosing between a flavour and a strain. Choosing between Bubble and Moroccan is choosing between a method and a place.

The point specific to this product is that Bubble is the only name in the entire range that describes how something was made rather than what it tastes of or where it came from, which is exactly why using it as a flavour is worth flagging.

The forty per cent, and the figure we will not repeat

There is one thing we do need to say on every full spectrum product, and it is short. Full spectrum means the extract deliberately keeps the plant's whole cannabinoid profile rather than stripping it back, which is precisely why full spectrum is the only grade where controlled cannabinoids are retained on purpose.

The UK consumer test is a limit of one milligram of controlled cannabinoids per container, covering THC, THCV and CBN, regardless of the container's size. Retailers selling this product repeat a percentage figure instead. A percentage is not that test, and on a piece this small the Caramello page shows exactly why the two are not interchangeable.

We carry bubble-named hash from two brands and they are stated at very different strengths, which is worth a sentence rather than a section.

This Euphoria piece is one gram at a stated forty per cent. The Professor Herb bubble hash is two grams at a stated nineteen. Between them they are the only two products on our hash shelf whose names claim anything at all about production. Everything else names a strain, a place or a flavour.

Who should not buy this

If you are buying specifically because bubble hash means ice water extraction, read the first section again before ordering. What is published about this product describes an infused material and a bubble flavour, and we cannot confirm the method from anything the manufacturer says.

If you face drug testing, avoid full spectrum products across the board and this one in particular while no batch certificate exists for it. That is not a comment on this hash specifically. It applies to the whole grade.
