What this is sold as, and what we will not tell you

Retailer copy across this range describes the product as suitable as a fragrance enhancer or as raw material for further processing. One UK shop lists the identical item, same brand, same name, same 40 per cent, same gram, as Caramello CBD Incense rather than hash.

That framing is deliberate and it is the honest starting point for this page. We are not going to describe how to consume this product, because it is not sold as something to consume and inventing a use for it would misrepresent what the manufacturer and the trade actually say about it.

What we can tell you is what it is. It is a solid hemp resin made from European industrial hemp, stated at 40 per cent full spectrum CBD with the plant's terpenes retained, supplied as a single gram in a small pod that keeps it from drying out. The caramel character in the name is aroma.

This line sits on our shelves because the owner reviewed the position and decided to stock it. That is a commercial decision, and the honest thing is to publish the reasoning alongside the product rather than leave it off the page.

The 0.2 per cent claim, on a gram, describes twice the limit

This is worth working through slowly, because it is the clearest demonstration we have found of why one particular figure should never be trusted.

Retailers selling this hash state that it contains under two tenths of one per cent THC, and present that as its compliance credential. The UK consumer test is that a container holds no more than 1mg of controlled cannabinoids in total, counting THC, THCV and CBN. Per container, as an absolute quantity.

This product weighs one gram. Two tenths of one per cent of a gram is 2mg. So the figure presented as proof of compliance describes, on the product's own stated weight, twice the amount the law permits in the whole container.

Be careful about what that does and does not show. It does not mean this product is over the limit. The actual THC content could be a fraction of the ceiling being quoted. What it means is that the claim is not evidence of anything, because the ceiling it cites is looser than the rule it is meant to satisfy. A percentage that size on a gram cannot demonstrate compliance even in principle.

The 0.2 per cent figure is a cultivation rule in any case. It caps THC in the standing hemp crop grown under a Home Office licence and says nothing about what may lawfully be sold to a consumer. On a 50ml bottle its uselessness is abstract. On a gram, it is arithmetic.

Full spectrum on a gram is the tightest test we have written about

Our records list this as full spectrum, and the manufacturer describes it as 40 per cent full spectrum CBD with terpenes. Full spectrum means the extract retains THC deliberately rather than having it removed, which is the entire difference between it and a broad spectrum or isolate product.

Container size is what makes this the demanding case. The oils we have written about hold 10ml to 100ml. The gummy tubs weigh tens of grams. This is one gram, so the 1mg limit amounts to a tenth of one per cent of the product by weight.

That is a genuinely tight specification for a full spectrum hemp resin, and it is precisely why the certificate matters here more than anywhere else on this site.

So, plainly: we do not hold the per-batch certificate of analysis for the stock we would ship. We are not publishing a THC figure for this product and we are not telling you it is or is not within the limit. Nobody selling it publishes a figure either, and the one number they do publish is the one taken apart in the section above.

Forty per cent of a gram is four hundred milligrams

Straightforward arithmetic that nobody puts on a page. If the stated 40 per cent is accurate, a one gram piece holds around 400mg of CBD.

That figure is worth having because percentages and milligrams are used interchangeably across this category and they are not interchangeable at all. A 40 per cent hash and a 400mg product are the same thing described two ways, and only one of those descriptions lets you compare it against anything else on the shelf.

For context within our own range, 400mg in a gram is a concentrated form by weight, though a solid resin is not comparable to a dropper oil or a gummy in how it is used, and we are not going to pretend the numbers translate across formats.

Our own catalogue currently records no milligram figure for this product at all, which is a gap on our side rather than the manufacturer's. The percentage is published; the conversion simply has not been made.

Euphoria's hash range, and what the names actually mean

Euphoria makes fifteen CBD hash lines in our catalogue, all one gram, at 6, 9, 19, 25 and 40 per cent. Four of them sit at 40 per cent, and the naming across those four is inconsistent in a way that is worth untangling.

Bubble and Jamaican Charas are named after production methods. Bubble hash refers to ice water extraction, where the resin is separated using cold water and agitation. Charas traditionally refers to resin collected by hand from living plants. Those names describe how something was made.

Caramello and Choco are named after aroma. They tell you what it smells like and nothing about how it was produced. So within a single strength tier, two products are described by method and two by scent, which makes them look more comparable than they are.

The lower tiers are named after cannabis strains: Amnesia, Critical, Kush, Gorilla Glue, Jamaican Dream, Gelato, Candy Jack, Gypsy Haze. A third convention again.

Everything said above about the 0.2 per cent claim, the full spectrum position and the missing certificate applies equally to all four of the 40 per cent lines. They are the same proposition with different names on them.

Who should not buy this

If you want a CBD product with a settled regulatory position, this is not one. It is a full spectrum hemp resin on a one gram container, sold as a fragrance and raw material, in a category the owner has decided to stock on an explicit override. That is a reason to think rather than a reason to panic, but you should decide with the information.

If you want a figure for the THC, nobody publishes one, ourselves included, and the figure that is published across the market does not work on a gram.
