Six per cent is low, and low even against flower

Hash exists for one reason: it is more concentrated than the material it came from. Resin is separated from the plant and pressed, so you get more cannabinoid in less substance. That is the format's entire purpose.

The numbers the trade itself publishes make the usual picture clear enough. CBD hash generally runs somewhere between about 18 and 70 per cent, with 20 to 60 per cent quoted as the common band. CBD flower generally runs between about 10 and 25 per cent. Hash is routinely described as carrying two to four times what the flower carried, and one straightforward example in circulation is that a 10 per cent flower yields a 30 to 40 per cent hash.

Now place this pot against that. Six per cent is below the ordinary range for flower, and at roughly a third to a tenth of what the trade calls normal for hash. So the usual reason to choose hash, which is getting more from less, does not apply here.

Converted, the pot holds about 60mg of CBD in total. That is a modest figure by any measure in this category. A single gummy from several of the ranges we stock carries a comparable amount in one sweet.

None of that makes it a bad product. It makes it a different product from what the word hash usually signals, and the honest framing is that this is a mild pressed preparation rather than a concentrate. Who that suits is dealt with further down, and the answer is not nobody.

Full spectrum means more here than it does at the top of the range

This is a detail worth drawing out, because the same two words behave very differently depending on where on a range they appear.

Euphoria's most concentrated extract in this family is a crumble at 92 per cent CBD, and the maker states that under 1 per cent of it is other cannabinoids. It is labelled full spectrum, and at that purity the spectrum is essentially a trace: almost everything in the jar is a single compound.

This pot is 6 per cent, and it carries the same full spectrum label. The arithmetic runs the other way. At that concentration there is far more room for the rest of what the plant produced, so the term is plausibly describing something real rather than a rounding error.

So if the wider cannabinoid and terpene profile is genuinely why you want full spectrum rather than isolate, a low-percentage pressed product is a more honest fit for that preference than a highly purified one, even though the purified one sounds stronger. That is counterintuitive and it is the sort of thing only a shop carrying the whole range would notice.

One caveat we apply consistently across every full spectrum line. Full spectrum is by definition the grade that retains the plant's wider profile, which is precisely why the per-batch paperwork matters more here than on an isolate. We publish no THC figure for any full spectrum product until we hold a certificate of analysis for that batch, and this is no exception. The UK consumer test is an absolute quantity per container rather than a percentage, and you will see percentages quoted on pages selling this product that come from cultivation rules rather than from anything about what may be sold.

Amnesia, the Atlas Mountains, and a description that does not add up

A small thing, but it tells you how much of this category's copy is written once and reused.

The description in circulation for this hash says the material comes from a Cannabis Sativa popular in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. That is a perfectly good sentence about traditional Moroccan hash. It is a strange one to attach to something called Amnesia, because Amnesia Haze is a Dutch-bred strain rather than a Moroccan landrace.

What is more likely is that the Atlas Mountains line was written for a Moroccan product and then reused across a range where most of the names are modern Western strains. We mention it because it is the kind of detail that tells you how much weight to put on a product description, not because it says anything about where the material actually came from, which we cannot verify.

On the strain name itself: Amnesia here describes the terpene profile the hash is scented to, which the maker characterises as fruit, flowers and pine. That is a fair description of a haze-type aroma. It does not mean the CBD was extracted from an Amnesia plant, and it does not predict any effect.

Who a deliberately mild hash actually suits

It would be easy to read the section above as a reason not to buy this, and that is not quite right. A low percentage has genuine uses, and they are worth setting out because nobody else does.

The first is starting out. If you have never used a pressed product, a 40 per cent hash is unforgiving: a piece the size you would instinctively break off carries a lot more than you intended. At 6 per cent, the same misjudgement matters far less. Learning how the material handles is easier when the margin for error is wide.

The second is mixing. Hash is very often combined with something else rather than used alone, and a mild pressed product is easier to blend evenly through a larger quantity than a small hard piece of something highly concentrated.

The third is simply preference. Some people want the character of hash, which is the aroma and the way it burns, without a large cannabinoid load. That is a legitimate thing to want and this product delivers it.

What it does not suit is anyone who chose hash specifically to get more from less. If that was the reasoning, this is the wrong end of the range and the table below points at the alternatives.

One more thing about how this range gets labelled

Worth a short note because it turned up again while researching this product.

One UK shop lists this exact range twice over: a Euphoria CBD Hash at 6 per cent and, separately, a Euphoria CBD Incense at 6 per cent. Same shop, same maker, same concentration, two different category words.

The practical advice is the same either way: read the wording on any pressed product you buy, from us or anyone else, because the category word a seller chooses tells you something about how they regard the position. Who should not buy this

If you chose hash to get more cannabinoid from less material, this is the wrong end of the range by a considerable margin. The 19, 25 and 40 per cent options above are what you were looking for.

If you are comparing products by how much cannabinoid a gram carries, this one will come out near the bottom of everything on the shelf. That is the arithmetic doing what it should, not a fault in the pot.
